WATCH: Far-Left Philadelphia DA Threatens To Arrest ICE Agents

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner delivered a hyper-partisan speech ahead of Saturday’s planned anti-ICE demonstrations in the city. The Soros-backed D.A. claimed President Donald Trump is planning a “military overthrow” of the United States, compared ICE to Nazi Germany and suggested he will be filing charges against federal agents.

More than 1,500 “protests” are planned in cities and small towns nationwide over the weekend as part of the “No King’s Day” initiative, a highly-coordinated movement that seeks to take last weekend’s unrest in Los Angeles nationwide. Walmart heiress Christy Walton is funding full page color ads in the New York Times calling on people to “mobilize” over the weekend, while the far-left group Indivisible is directly organizing and fundraising hundreds of the individual demonstrations.

While speaking alongside “community leaders” in Philadelphia on Thursday, District Attorney Larry Krasner encouraged protesters to show up in large numbers against the “criminal-in-chief.”

Krasner began by suggesting that the “reaction” to immigration enforcement raids in Los Angeles — which consisted of mobs of far-left rioters tossing bricks and molotov cocktails at federal agents last Friday and Saturday — was justified. “We cannot fall into the trap that Pastor Nick Taliaferro mentioned, where somehow the story of a torture murder by a police officer named Derek Chauvin that played out over nine minutes on video and frankly scandalized the world, somehow that got written out of the narrative,” the far-left D.A. ranted.

“And the narrative became, ‘oh but look at the reaction,’ as if there had not been a cause,” Krasner continued.

Krasner went on to point to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s controversial “hush money” conviction against Trump — which was plagued by accusations of political bias and is currently being appealed — in calling the president a “criminal” who does not believe in “equality.”

The press conference continued to take on the form of a political rally speech, as Krasner made a number of false and dubious claims about the president, including the false claim that he was “endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan.”

“Okay? You know what he is. He is a racist, he is a criminal, and he, very, very, very much like Adolf Hitler, does not believe in equality, who called equality a degenerate notion.”

Krasner went on to suggest that he will be looking to bring charges against federal agents, whom he compared to the Nazis, while again seemingly justifying last week’s riots in Los Angeles. “So what does that mean? That means for anyone who understandably and properly is morally offended by separation of hardworking families, by trauma being served upon them, by a Nazified approach to deportation, they have every right under the United States Constitution, its First Amendment, the right of assembly and free speech to engage in non-violent social protest,” he said.

“It is not only legally permitted, it’s actually a really good thing because it has always been a much better alternative to violence. And it becomes a way for the people to be heard in a democratic society so their elected officials can hear them and change things without violence. That’s what it becomes,” he added before making a number of hyperbolic claims about the January 6 Capitol protests, including the outright lie that police officers were killed by the crowd.

“But we will also hold accountable anyone and everyone, whether they are uniformed ICE agents or they are opportunistic criminals who would tuck in behind lawful protest in order to loot, we will hold all of them properly accountable.”

Krasner went on to suggest that he will not be coordinating with the federal government if violence erupts on Saturday. “The notion that we’re actually going to talk to somebody like that, in a way that is reasonable, makes no sense. Because we all know what he’s actually up to. What he’s actually up to is setting up a military overthrow of the United States,” the far-left radical said of President Trump before urging Philadelphians to take action.

“I want all of my Philadelphia friends, and all of those people who are understandably provoked, outraged and disgusted, not to get it twisted. If you, are doing what Martin Luther King would have done, you’re gonna be fine,” Krasner continued before suggesting that federal agents plan on “killing” protesters.

“But ICE agents going beyond, their legal rights… And yeah, some of their legal rights offend me but if they have the legal right they get to do it. But going beyond their legal rights; killing, assaulting, illegally handling people in violation of the law. Denying them their due process in a way that constitutes a crime in Pennsylvania, you will be prosecuted,” he continued, concluding with, “F around and well… you know the rest.”
