Fox News Host Lashes Out, Labels Trump Supporters ‘Fake MAGA’

Fox News host Mark Levin dug in on Tuesday, accusing Trump supporters of harboring “fake MAGA” agendas by pressuring President Donald Trump out of military involvement in the Middle East.

The longtime Fox anchor issued his latest response in a mushrooming public feud with Tucker Carlson, doubling down by accusing his former Fox colleague and other “isolationists” in the MAGA movement of antisemitism for referring to him as a neoconservative. Levin, who is Jewish, has historically been a supporter of deploying U.S. service members to countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.

In a lengthy post on X, the fiery Fox anchor attempted to distinguish between “real” and “fake” MAGA, downplaying the dispute.

“There is no rift in real MAGA,” Levin wrote. “The Trump voters love and support President Trump like never before. They also love our country and, yes, the Holy Land that is Israel.”

On Friday, peace talks between Trump envoys and Iran were scuttled with the destructive bombing of key Iranian military sites by Israeli forces. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the aggression, asserting that Iran would have reneged on any deal struck with Trump.

That’s something Carlson and other critics don’t understand, Levin went on, referring to a cabal of “self-righteous narcissists and national security illiterates.”

“They sound like Bernie Sanders, Rashida Tlaib, and David Duke, promote 1930s isolationism and appeasement, and confuse bumper sticker slogans with intelligence. They claim to be America First, as they trash most things American,” he wrote. “But they’re mostly grifters and bullies, self-promoters and demagogues, making deals with shady characters and the billionaires and millionaires they claim to hate. They seek to control a movement they didn’t start and, in fact, reject, and which they will never control. They’re fake MAGA. Real MAGA is not isolationist or antisemitic. It’s not anything like them.”

Levin, in contrast, described himself in heroic terms — a defender of the “forgotten man” who is a true believer in Trump.

“The pretenders are just that, pretenders. Arrogant and self-important. Petulant and nasty,” he concluded. “But the fake media and fake MAGA are worried and panicked. They should be. They seek power and control. They hope to divide us. It’s not going to happen.”

The feud became public last week after Levin accused Carlson of leaking his visit to the White House, where he petitioned President Trump and Middle East ambassador Steve Witkoff to offer direct military support to Israel. Carlson, in turn, mocked Levin while speaking with former Trump advisor Steve Bannon.

“Levin’s the funniest because he’s terrible on TV,” Carlson told Bannon in an interview. “It’s like listening to your ex-wife screaming about alimony payments.”

For all his bluster, Levin appears to be a man without a nation. Both Witkoff and President Trump have expressed their desire for a long-term peace deal with Iran, putting them firmly in Carlson’s America First camp.

Witkoff’s alignment with Carlson has apparently been too much for Levin.

“Do whatever you want, it’s perfectly fine by me. But don’t screw with me, you little bastard, by twisting my words,” Levin fired back at Carlson. “And you should have picked up the phone because I would have cleared things up for you.”
