Fox News Host Under Fire For Attacking MTG: ‘You’re A Little Known Politician’
Fox News host Mark Levin is getting raked over the coals on social media after he launched an attack against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). The harsh words from Levin come as a response to Greene’s rant against “fake” MAGA supporters who are “slobbering” over the notion of America getting involved in a war with Iran.
In the post, Greene accused many of her own friends and allies of dropping President Donald Trump’s “America First” platform and exchanging it for foreign interventionism.
Levin responded by referring to her as a “little known politician” and stating that Trump is the defining leader of the America First movement.
“Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First/MAGA,” the Georgia representative wrote in a viral X post on Sunday. “Wishing for murder of innocent people is disgusting. We are sick and tired of foreign wars. All of them.”
The following day, Levin ripped into Greene’s statement.
“Who died and named Marjorie Taylor Greene the queen of MAGA?” he wrote with pure venom. “Trump is MAGA. He received 77 million votes. You’re a little known politician from Georgia. Hate to break the news to you. We’re Team Trump. Go Trump!”
Levin is joining a group of prominent individuals in the MAGA movement who are pushing for the president and congressional leadership to take a hard stance against Iran. These same folks are voicing support for Trump’s somewhat ambiguous signals concerning military action.
This puts Trump and several MAGA influencers at odds with popular individuals like Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon, both of whom are staunch anti-interventionists.
President Trump, as of this writing, has not completely ruled out the United States getting involved in the skirmish between Israel and Iran.
“You can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon,” Trump said.
Many MAGA and conservative supporters took to X to shred Levin for attacking Greene.
Journalist Cassandra MacDonald scorched Levin, saying,”You have one of the lowest rated shows on Fox. Moderate banger tweets have more views than any given episode of whatever your show is called.”
Another user said, “77 million votes based off of the promises he made and the ones[Green] listed. We all know you’re a Zionist pig with one goal and one goal only. Benefit that ethnocentric racist state even if it leads to our demise. You’re such a con artist its hilarious.”
Another wrote, “LMAO Levin you are losing a lot of your base. Stop starting fights with MAGA.” Another one said, “There is no ‘we’ here. You’re a backseat driver who keeps leaning forward, trying to grab the wheel and turn the car off the road.”
