Franklin Graham Urges All Christians To Pray For President Trump As Witch Hunt Intensifies

Christian leader, Franklin Graham, called for all Americans to pray for Donald Trump as his impending indictment looms closer and closer. Trump said this weekend that he expects to be indicted this Tuesday.

Graham has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump. He praised Trump’s policies and leadership, particularly his stance on religious freedom, conservative values, and pro-life issues. Graham also supported Trump’s efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.

Graham wrote on Facebook, “We need to pray for our country and where it is headed. The left in Washington and across the country just can’t get their fill of attacking Donald Trump. They are so paranoid of him. The onslaught against him is continual.”

Graham was among the prominent religious leaders who prayed at Trump’s inauguration in January 2017. He also defended Trump during his presidency, during the impeachment proceedings, and the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There’s no question, the media and the left manipulated the last election, and they are scared to death of Donald Trump’s possible return.” Graham continued, “So, night after night, the media runs negative stories about former President Trump. Now they’re talking about the possibility of arresting him in the hopes that this would prevent him from running for president again—this would be a huge mistake. The charges against him are definitely politically motivated.”

“I would like to ask Christians across this country to pray specifically for former President Donald J. Trump, that God’s hand would be upon him, protect him, and direct him in every step he takes—and that God’s will be done.” He finished, “We need to work together to strengthen this nation—not divide and destroy it.”

Many others have called out against the “witch hunt.” Those include: Kevin McCarthy, Elon Musk, Ben Shapiro, and Chris Rock. The indictment is seen by many as a political ploy rather than a service of justice. It could even serve as a rally effect for Trump’s supporters as well.

Graham’s support for Trump has not been without criticism, however. Some fellow evangelical leaders and Christians criticized Graham for his unwavering support of Trump, despite the former president’s rhetoric at times. Graham responded by saying that he was endorsing Trump’s policies and actions as president.

Graham is the son of the famous evangelist Billy Graham and also serves as the President and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief organization.

He has been active in ministry for many years, preaching and teaching the Gospel around the world and participating in various humanitarian efforts. In addition to his ministry work, Graham is known for his political views and has been involved in various political and social issues in the United States. Franklin Graham has authored several books, including “Rebel with a Cause,” “All for Jesus,” and “The Name.” He is considered one of the most influential religious leaders in the United States.
