‘Go F**K Yourself’: Elon Musk Visibly Stuns Host With Response To Advertiser Pressure Campaign

Tech mogul Elon Musk left NBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin speechless with a short but blunt response to an ongoing left-wing advertiser boycott aimed at X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. Musk stated that Disney and other dissatisfied companies should stop advertising on X, adding “go f**k yourself.”

Sorkin asked Musk about his recent trip to Israel, where he toured sites of the October 7 attacks and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Now obviously you know that there’s a public perception that, and you’re clarifying this now, but there’s a public perception that that was part of a apology tour, if you will. That this had been said online, there was all of the criticism, there was advertisers leaving,” Sorkin said.

After Sorkin then named Disney CEO Bob Iger as an one of the executives behind the boycott and appeared to be asking a question about advertisers when Musk interjected with, “I hope they stop.”

“Don’t advertise,” Musk stated.

“You don’t want them to advertise?” Sorkin followed up while Musk immediately reaffirmed his position.

“If somebody’s gonna try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f**k yourself,” Musk declared, leaving Sorkin visibly stunned. After a brief pause, the host began to speak again before Musk once again said “go f**k yourself.”

“Is that clear? I hope it is. “Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience.”

The current boycott stems from an X post last week in which Musk agreed with a user who claimed that “Jewish communities” have endorsed anti-white initiatives. The Tesla CEO clarified that he was referring to groups such as the ADL, which has repeatedly pressured advertisers to leave X due to unfounded allegations of “antisemitism.”

Musk has insisted that he was merely pointing out the hypocrisy of groups like the ADL — which lists “it’s OK to be white,” the “OK” hand sign, several numbers, “white lives matter” and dozens of additional symbols or statements as “hateful” or “racist” while demanding sharp consequences for antisemitism.

He has also filed a lawsuit in response to reporting from Media Matters, a far-left legal watchdog who claimed ads for big-name brands were being placed next to racist and antisemitic tweets. Musk has vehemently denied the allegations and accused the group of doctoring screenshots and manipulating X’s algorithm.

When asked by Sorkin about the economic effects of losing advertisers, Musk conceded that this will likely “kill the company.” This again left the host, as well as the crowd, visibly stunned and without words.

“And the whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company and we will document it,” Musk said.

“But they’re going to say that, they’re going to say Elon, that you killed the company because you said these things and that they were inappropriate things and that they didn’t feel comfortable on the platform, right? That’s what they would have said,” Sorkin followed up.

“And let’s see how earth respond to that,” Musk replied.
