Greg Gutfeld, the sharp-tongued host of late night’s top-rated program Gutfeld! and co-host of The Five, is stepping into the world of game shows—but with a signature political edge.

FOX Nation has announced that Gutfeld will helm a three-part limited series titled “Greg Gutfeld’s What Did I Miss?” premiering May 12. The premise is to take four contestants, cut them off from the outside world for three months, and drop them back into the mayhem of post-inauguration America under President Donald Trump’s second term.

Their challenge is to separate real headlines from fake ones—all for a $50,000 cash prize. The contestants, secluded in upstate New York from January 20 through April 13, had no access to phones, television, internet, or social media.

Now, they’ll face off in a quiz-style game designed to test not only their instincts but also their ability to process the absurdities of the modern news cycle.

FOX Nation President Lauren Petterson said in a statement, “Truth can be stranger than fiction and who better to help isolated Americans catch up on the headlines they missed during an unprecedented news cycle than Greg Gutfeld.”

“We are excited for FOX Nation subscribers to have exclusive access to America’s most-watched late night host’s game show debut as he informs contestants about what really happened while they were completely off the grid and isolated from the outside world,” Petterson finished.

Each episode will feature Gutfeld at the helm, presenting bizarre or plausible news scenarios. Joining him as panelists are Gutfeld! regulars Kat Timpf and Jamie Lissow, who will provide color commentary and weigh in on the contestants’ choices.

“For these four contestants to learn what really happened while they were living in isolation, they’ll have to get through me first,” Gutfeld joked. “Lucky them.”

Since 2021, Gutfeld has hosted Gutfeld!, the late-night comedy talk show that blends political satire with cultural commentary. The show has achieved significant success, often leading in late-night ratings.

Gutfeld gained prominence as the host of Red Eye (2007–2015), a late-night show on Fox News known for its unconventional humor. In 2011, he became a co-host of The Five, a political talk show that remains one of Fox News’ highest-rated programs.

His jump into the game show genre comes on the heels of record-breaking viewership. His late-night program just wrapped its best quarter yet, pulling in 3.3 million nightly viewers and beating out legacy networks like CBS, ABC, and NBC. His continued success with The Five also brought in 4.6 million viewers in the first quarter of 2025.

Gutfeld is married to Elena Moussa, a former Maxim Russia photo editor and fashion stylist. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mira, in December last year.
