Hollywood actor Brad Everett Young, who starred in a supporting role on the hit medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” and later blossomed into his own career as a photographer, died in a fiery car crash in Los Angeles.

Young, 46, died on the 134 Freeway when his car was struck by a vehicle heading in the wrong direction, according to a representative.

“Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched,” his agent told the Hollywood Reporter.

Young was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was taken to an area hospital.

A Hollywood heartthrob, Young garnered attention for his roles in “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Boy Meets World,” and “Charlie’s Angels” before stepping back behind the camera and achieving a second successful career as a private photographer.

He shot for major celebrity publications like The Hollywood Reporter, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, People, and Variety, capturing other stars of his era, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Harbour, and soap opera actors in the hit series “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital.”

Young’s portfolio flourished in the 1990s when he nabbed notable spots in “Boy Meets World,” “Felicity,” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” as well as brief recurring roles in “Midnight Hour” and “Numb3rs.” He also made appearances in box-office successes like “Love & Basketball” and “Jurassic Park III.”

He used proceeds from his career to found Dream Loud Official, an organization dedicated to uplifting young people finding their footing in the worlds of art and entertainment.

“He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official,” Christensen said.

Chris McKenna, a colleague from “General Hospital,” posted a heartfelt tribute to Young on Instagram, writing, “These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 we won’t see another like him.”

Parry Shan, another actor from the hit medical drama, added, “Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met.

“But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity.”

“He was always striving to make the situation better.”

“His excitement when pitching a fun idea to shoot was contagious. He also used his talents and platform to restore music and arts programs at schools with Dream Loud Official.”

“A huge, huge loss. To those who met him at our events, you know. Rest in peace, friend.”

A Virginia native, Young first arrived in Los Angeles to pursue medical school but quickly found the roles in medical dramas more riveting, the Daily Mail reports.

“L.A. was just the place where I could make those decisions with all the job opportunities the town offered,” he said in a 2015 interview.

“In the first month here, I went out on my first audition for a TV series, booked it, joined the Screen Actors Guild, and the rest was history.”

“I absolutely fell in love with everything in this business and the journey and strength it takes to accomplish what you want in it.”
