WATCH: Megyn Kelly Unleashes, Says Ron DeSantis Is Afraid To Go On Her Show

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly slammed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for declining an invitation to appear on her show. While speaking on her podcast, Kelly expressed surprise that DeSantis would choose to sit down with a British journalist rather than an American one.

Kelly stated, “I will say for the record, we asked DeSantis to come on the show. He has not said yes. And I find that very interesting. You know, I love Piers Morgan. He’s a pal of mine, but why would you go sit with the British guy and not come on the show? And I do think there’s a reason for it.”

Kelly went on to suggest that DeSantis was afraid of the kind of interview she would give him, claiming that journalists should not be concerned with rubbing elbows with politicians, but rather with telling the truth.

“And I will venture to say he’s afraid. I’m just going to put it out there. He’s afraid because he knows the kind of interview that I would give him,” Kelly said.

DeSantis has maintained a stance of “isolation” as many expect him announce to potential presidential run for 2024. However, DeSantis did address some of the comments made by former President Trump aimed at him during an interview with Piers Morgan.
