Former Trump advisor and the infamous longtime politico Roger Stone has opened up his opinions regarding a Trump vs. DeSantis battle for the 2024 GOP Presidential ticket…

For those who do not know Roger Stone is an infamous political consultant who has been around since the days of Lee Atwater and other GOP consultants who have mastered the craft. His resume includes working with President Nixon, President Ronald Reagan, President George H.W. Bush and of course Donald Trump.

Stone’s opinions on political strategy and outcomes are certainly some that can be backed by years of being in the game and undeniable success. That being said, his statements are not to be swept under the rug in the slightest.

Recently, Stone went on Real America’s Voice to share his opinions on what a Trump vs. DeSantis race may amount to, and what political repercussions could come from it.

The political consultant who is known by his self proclaimed “machiavellian” style first made his comments by saying the only man to thank for the rise of Ron DeSantis was Donald Trump himself.

“Ron DeSantis became governor solely because of Donald Trump he was an unknown congressman … otherwise he would be working at a Dairy Queen right now,” Stone said on the air with Real America’s Voice.

The political advisor and former-Trump consultant also said that before Trump the only person that support DeSantis in Florida was current-Congressmen Matt Gaetz who has been loyal to both Trump and DeSantis over the past years throughout both of their political careers.

Stone made it very clear during the interview that he thinks Ron DeSantis will run for President but in his professional opinion, it would be a bad move for the Florida Governor.

Roger Stone, a local Floridian, also confessed that he did in fact vote for Ron DeSantis for the Governor bid in the past election but did not think moving to a Presidential bid would be a wise move for the Florida Governor.

Roger Stone made the comments listed above while on “The Water Cooler” with David Brody on Wednesday which you can see below:

Stone’s comments spurred a wide ranged debate in the comment section where many advocated for either Trump or DeSantis. Check out what other people had to say in the comment section below:
