Here’s What Republicans Are Urging Voters To Do In Aftermath Of Biden’s Angry Speech
Leaders in the Republican Party are pretty concerned about the tone of the speech President Joe Biden delivered on Thursday evening, urging conservatives in the country to not react on the streets, but by taking their rage out at the polls by showing up to vote and ousting Democrats in Congress. Obviously, Republican Party leadership is attempting to steer people away from being involved in another Jan. 6 kind of situation. Regardless, the words are wise. Republicans in the nation need to stop complaining and take action by showing up to vote in elections.
According to the Daily Wire, the speech, which was delivered at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, a glowing red and blue background behind the president with Marines beside him, was extremely divisive and hateful. However, the GOP is asking fellow conservatives to not fall for the trap set by the president and his administration with this speech, instead letting him know how they feel by casting a ballot against the Democratic Party in November’s midterms.
“The best way to protect the American people from this deranged ideologue is to elect a Republican majority this fall,” Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton stated in a tweet.
Here’s a bit more information provided by the Daily Wire report:
In his 24-minute, primetime address, Biden, flanked by U.S. Marines, took a decidedly strident and political tone in denouncing supporters of former President Trump. He claimed his party is in a battle for “the soul of America” with Trump supporters, who numbered over 74 million in the 2020 election.
“Here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution,” Biden said. “They do not believe in the rule of law.” Biden warned darkly that his political opponents would resort to violence.
“MAGA Republicans have made their choice,” he said. “They embrace anger. They thrive on chaos,” “We hear — you’ve heard it — more and more talk about violence as an acceptable political tool in this country. It’s not. It can never be an acceptable tool,” and “good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from.”
Anyone who has been paying attention to politics for the last year-and-a-half that Joe Biden has been serving as president knows that the left has been taking full advantage of the events of January 6 as a weapon to frame Trump supporters as being wacky, violent, right-wing extremists. However, Sen. Cotton wasn’t the only Republican out there who was warning the conservative movement to be cautious and not allow Biden and his speech to goad them into engaging in acts of unrest.

Florida Republican Congressman Byron Donalds also reminded voters that the best way to hit back at Biden and his rhetoric was through the power of their votes.
“If you live in a red area on this map, Biden automatically thinks you’re a semi-fascist. If you live in a blue area but voted Republican, don’t worry—Biden believes you’re a fascist too. @JoeBiden, I see A LOT of red. FYI we VOTE, and we won’t forget what you called us,” he said in a tweet.

Figures involved in the realm of conservative media also echoed these sentiments, going on to point out that the kind of comments made in Biden’s speech would come back to haunt him as long as the GOP stays focused on the midterms.
“If tonight didn’t light a fire under your butt to get out and vote Republican in November, I don’t know what will. We have a country to save. This is not a fire drill,” Fox News’ Lisa Boothe explained.

“You owe Biden nothing. Not respect. Not loyalty. Not obedience. Let his s****y supporters go fight his wars. Vote every Republican you can in the office,” commentator Kurt Schlichter went on to say in response to the speech.

As The Mandalorian would say, “This is the way.” Voting these people out of office is the best way to strike hard at the Biden administration for the vitriol and hatred put on display in Thursday’s speech. Let’s stay civil. We need to remain above the left, maintaining the moral high ground if we want folks to join our cause and help us win hearts and minds. If we want America to survive for future generations, that’s the kind of focus we must keep.
