Hollywood Residents Furious After Taylor Swift Photoshoot Causes Massive Disturbances
Taylor Swift and the iconic Hollywood sign are set to merge in the spotlight this week, coinciding with her highly anticipated premiere on Disney+. However, the event has stirred some frustration among residents living near the renowned Griffith Park landmark in Los Angeles.
A production that has been intensifying throughout the week is scheduled for a significant shoot on Wednesday, according to film permit notices received by the neighbors.
TMZ acquired a copy of one of the permit notices. It’s worth noting that law enforcement has also been made aware of this document, with police being informed that filming near the Hollywood sign is set to take place tomorrow. The permit outlined in detail the planned activities.

The notice specified that filming for “Disney + TS” will occur along Mulholland Highway, just beneath the Hollywood sign. Preparation for the shoot is set for the entirety of Tuesday, with filming planned to continue throughout Wednesday.
Come Thursday … that’s when the production will work on breaking everything down and clearing out — which is why we’re told neighbors around there are furious over all this.
We’re told residents in the vicinity feel like this is a massive eyesore, and not just that — but it’s creating a bunch of foot traffic and ruckus that’s disturbing their peace and way of life. We’re told there’s been a lot of internal communication among different home associations and other orgs … and let’s just say, folks there aren’t happy with the production.
Unfortunately for them, the show will go on … and as you can see, there’ll be some aerial photography happening as well. We’re told drones are expected to be in the mix … possibly a lot of them. BTW, before Swifties start hiking up the hill … there’s nothing in the permit to explicitly suggest Taylor is going to perform at this thing.
Swift, who is halfway through her two-year, worldwide “Eras” tour, has been thrown into the medley of heated debates about when, where, how, or if celebrities should use their influence to advocate for or against specific politicians.
For decades, many well-known actors and singers participated in get-out-the-vote campaigns like MTV’s Rock the Vote initiative, though picking sides inevitably forces them to come down against some fans. Swift, who reportedly earns about $13 million per show on her tour, is no different.
Swift will reveal the names of unexpected tracks included in Disney’s expanded version of the Eras Tour on Good Morning America. Having recently concluded six performances at Singapore’s National Stadium, she is set to proceed with her worldwide journey, with the next stop in Paris come May.

Swift revealed in February that the concert film would premiere exclusively on the platform on March 14 at 6 p.m. PT, carrying a reported cost of more than $75 million.
