After making headlines last week blasting Israel after Palestinian Hamas terrorists brutally attacked the Jewish state, radical leftist ‘squad member’ Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) seems to be losing support in her own party. In a Tuesday appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered hosted by Kayleigh McEnany, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) agreed with the Fox host that Tlaib should be censured.
Tlaib, herself the daughter of Palestinian immigrants, most recently garnered severe criticism by blaming Israel for the alleged bombing of a Gaza City hospital, a Hamas claim later found to be false.
In a statement issued on Oct. 23rd, Tlaib said, “Media outlets and third-party analysts have raised doubts about claims and evidence offered by both Israel and the Gaza Ministry of Health, and I agree with the United Nations that an independent investigation is necessary.”
Tuesday, McEnany asked Moskowitz if House Democrats who have hurled groundless accusations and admonishments at Israel for its war of self-defense against Hamas should be subject to “some sort of punishment.”

“Congress is unified in its support of Israel,” Moskowitz responded.
“I continue to be disappointed in members of Congress who are not willing to listen to U.S. intelligence and listen to the Biden administration, who have said Israel had nothing to do with the issue that happened in the parking lot of the hospital. Let’s remember, the hospital wasn’t hit. The hospital is still there. It’s the parking lot of the hospital.”
Moskowitz continued, reminding viewers that mainstream reports that over 500 Palestinians were killed in an explosion at the alleged hospital strike were also unconfirmed saying, “There’s no proof of that.” He even offered praise for McEnany saying, “Thanks for bringing this up and keeping this on the forefront.”
“All of those things have turned out to be inaccurate. U.S. intelligence is saying that,” he added. “And any member of Congress who continues to trust Hamas’s information over U.S. information is obviously deeply concerning.”
“It’s been disgusting, what happened in that hospital issue with the media was disgusting, it exposed all sorts of anti-Semitism,” Moskowitz added according to Timcast News, “I guess we can dispel with the lie Jews control the media.”
On Oct. 17th Tlaib tweeted, “Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that. @POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.”

As previously reported by Trending Politics, one of the first outlets to do so, the Al-Ahli Arabi Hospital in Gaza City was most likely struck by an errant rocket fired by the terrorist forces of Islamic Jihad, a Hamas-aligned group in Gaza.
Israeli Defense Force Spokesman Jonathan Conricus told CNN,
“We are all too aware of the cynical manipulation that Hamas seeks to do by using civilians exactly for these purposes and we’ve seen that all over the many years of conflict that we’ve had with Hamas and more so during this war, they have no boundaries. They bomb their own civilians. They–they attack them and use violence and, in this case…they are trying to leverage this sad incident of a misfire of an Islamic Jihad rocket in order to leverage pressure on Isreal.”
He added, “We did not strike that hospital. We do not intentionally strike any sensitive facilities, and definitely not hospitals. We are very much aware of the presence of civilians.”
