Hunter Biden book sales face sad reality, fails to reach top 10
Hunter Biden books sales not looking great after failing to reach the top ten. The son of President Joe Biden had plenty of major press and promotion, being on television shows and catching some online buzz among Democrats, and even Republicans talking about it – but it didn’t help push enough book sales to secure that coveted top ten sales achievement.
Hunter Biden’s book, “Beautiful Things: A Memoir” had sold less than 11,000 copies during the first week in publication, according to Publishers Weekly. The sales report on Publishers Weekly showed that Hunter Biden’s book only sold 10,638 copies that week.
Another report listed some major media outlets who talked about Hunter Biden’s book in one way or another, putting the word out for the embattled son of a president, but even that press didn’t help too much.
That report mentioned big name outlets like “CBS News, CNN and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” who appeared to promote Hunter Biden’s memoir.
Hunter also spoke with Anthony Mason during an interview on “CBS This Morning” – then another interview on “CBS Sunday Morning” with Tracy Smith.
Despite all the press Joe Biden’s son received, the book still had 11 competitors ranked above it.
Daily Wire pointed out that Shannon Bream’s book sold over 32,000 copies to peak in the second spot for sales that week. She’s a Fox News host who wrote “The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today.”
A big name on CNN, Brian Stelter, had promoted Hunter Biden’s book in a newsletter and called it “breathtaking” – but even that didn’t help propel Biden to the top spot for sales that week.
A book titled “The Hill We Climb: An Inaugural Poem for the Country” took the top spot that week, selling over 42,000 copies and it involves Oprah Winfrey.
