Hunter Biden’s Ex-Wife Tells All in Bombshell Memoir
In a tell-all memoir, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle opened up about her failed relationship with President Joe Biden’s son.
“Buhle and Hunter got married back in 1993, split in 2015, and finalized their divorce in April 2017 — weeks after Hunter revealed that he was in a relationship with his late brother Beau Biden’s widow, Hallie Biden. That relationship ended in 2019, and in May 2019, Hunter wed South African filmmaker Melissa Cohen and the couple welcomed their first child together, a son named Beau, in March 2020,” People reported.
In the book, Buhle opens up about her experience with Hunter Biden and their divorce, specifically how it played out in court. The couple was together for 24 years and have three kids.
“When my marriage ended, I felt like I’d lost my sense of who I was,” she said. “Anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship, or been through infidelity and divorce, can tell you how devastating it feels. But what I also realized through those crushing experiences is that I needed to find a way to stand on my own.”
“In February 2017, Buhle alleged in a legal filing that her estranged ex had spent money on drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, and strip clubs. Buhle’s book doesn’t shy away from those previous disclosures; instead, it will shine a light on the “heavy toll” addiction can take on relationships, according to the book’s publisher,” the report added.
“Writing this book has been incredibly healing for me… and my hope is it will be meaningful to those who have been through addiction or divorce, and especially to women who have felt like their entire identity was tied to their spouse. In the end, divorce allowed me to find my strength,” Buhle said.
Hunter Biden has always had issues. He has a child with a stripper and even had a romantic relationship with his brother’s widow shortly after he had died as he noted in his own memoir.
The president’s son is also under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware over his tax affairs.
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter Biden said. “I take this matter very seriously, but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”
CNN reports that investigators are looking into potential money laundering by Hunter Biden and his business associates.
“Publicly available documents show Hunter and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle had an Internal Revenue Service lien against them for taxes not paid, possibly including interest and penalties, totaling $112,805.09, until this past March. The documents, filed by the IRS, show the lien was placed in November 2019. It is not immediately clear if the lien has anything to do with the investigation,” CNBC reported.
“Separately, Hunter Biden had individual income tax liens of almost $453,890 placed on him by the District of Columbia on July 9, related to taxes owed for 2017 and 2018, according to a document on file in D.C. Recorder of Deeds Office. Those liens were canceled six days later, records show. The District of Columbia’s income tax rate is 8.95 percent for income above $1 million annually, plus about $85,000,” they added.
