Ilhan Omar Faces Deportation Calls After Doubling Down On Kirk Attack

“Squad” Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is facing stepped-up calls for her deportation after the former Somali refugee doubled down on her attacks on Charlie Kirk.

Omar, who previously declared that Republicans are “full of s**t” for their defense of Kirk, stated recently that the Turning Point USA founder has “no legacy to honor.” Her caustic comment provoked another round of condemnation by MAGA commentators who called on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to consider deporting the third-term Democrat.

“I have nothing to apologize for,” the defiant lawmaker said on Don Lemon’s YouTube show when asked about calls for her to apologize.

“You know, it is a tragedy that Charlie Kirk was killed in that way. I feel for his widow and his children. They will have to live with that for the rest of their lives,” she continued, describing the up-close and extremely violent videos capturing Kirk’s final moments after being shot by a gunman.

“But there is no legacy to honor. It was a legacy filled with bigotry, hatred, and white supremacy. And as a black woman and as a Muslim in this country, I refuse to join the chorus that changes the history of what is on the record from this man.”

The “crazy people” supporting Kirk can “do whatever they want to do,” but Omar insisted she wouldn’t be “bullied into complacency, into dishonoring who I am and what I stand for, just to, you know, make them feel comfortable.”

As the founder of Turning Point, Kirk made frequent appearances on college campuses where he challenged liberal students to respectful debates. Viral videos of the clashes often ended with his opponents storming away after failing to persuade him with their words.

But to Omar, claims that Kirk simply wanted to encourage civil debate are disingenuous.

“There are a lot of people who are talking about him [Kirk] just wanting to have a civil debate,” Omar griped to progressive outlet Zeteo. “These people are full of s**t and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness.”

“There is nothing more f****d up than to pretend that his words and actions haven’t been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so,” she added, accusing Kirk of spreading “hateful rhetoric” in his public statements, the NY Post reported.

In a separate post, Omar shared clips of Democrats and other media figures “normalizing Kirk” with their eulogies following his assassination, blasting the Trump ally as a “reprehensible human being” and a “stochastic terrorist.”

President Donald Trump responded last week with a fierce request to Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to “take back” Omar to her native country.
