An illegal alien who is currently facing charges in connection with the viral beating of multiple NYPD officers flipped double middle fingers to reporters after he was released without bail on Wednesday.
Jhoan Boada, 22, became the fifth person to be charged with assault on an officer and obstruction when he was booked on Wednesday. His arrest came after four other men were charged in connection with the shocking attack, during which four illegal aliens could be seen ganging up on a police officer in Midtown this past Saturday. The other suspects were identified as Darwin Andres Gomez, 19, Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19, Wilson Juarez, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.
Upon leaving court, a smirking Boada appeared completely unconcerned as he held up both middle fingers to reporters after being released without bail.
Two more suspects — Jandry Barros, 21, and Yohenry Brito, 24 — were arrested and charged on Wednesday evening. All defendants were released without monetary bail with the exception of Reveron, who has multiple arrests on his record. He was instead placed on supervised release.
According to a report from the New York Post, three of the defendants may have already fled the city after hopping on a bus bound for California. The men allegedly gave fake names to a church-affiliated nonprofit group that helps asylum seekers and illegal aliens get out of the city.
The case has sparked outrage among elected officials, including New York Governor Kathy Hochul, who deviated from her usual “sanctuary state” rhetoric in demanding deportations.
“Violent thugs and drug cartels are above the law in Biden’s America,” said U.S. Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT). “Every single one of them must be deported- immediately.” X owner Elon Musk also weighed in on the shocking case, calling it “outrageous.”
Others have pointed to the disparate treatment handed down to illegal aliens when compared with illegal aliens. “Today a J6er who shoved a DC cop from behind was sentenced to 78 months in prison,” wrote veteran reporter Julie Kelly in reference to the case of Ralph Celentano, a New York resident.
