InfoWars Reporter Was ‘Brutally Murdered’ Outside Austin Apartment
Authorities are investigating after InfoWars reporter Jamie White was murdered outside his home in Austin, Texas on Sunday night.
InfoWars founder Alex Jones confirmed Monday evening that one of his reporters, Jamie White, was “brutally murdered” around midnight. “There are a lot of really cool people that have worked at Infowars over the years, and one of the most amazing people was Jamie White. You know him as a great reporter and researcher,” Jones announced during Monday’s broadcast.
He added that White was working late at the office on Sunday night, noting that his final post on X was a call for an end to political violence, which he reposted from platform owner Elon Musk.

“Jamie was murdered last night outside of his home just a few miles away from our studios, and we are, the folks here, breaking that news first because his family has been notified and his good personal friends here that were very close to Jamie have talked to his folks and family,” Jones continued.
He went on to explain that members of the InfoWars team went over to White’s apartment after he didn’t answer his phone, something that was out of character for him. Upon arrival, they encountered a crime scene complete with multiple police videos, caution tape and “blood all over the parking lot.” Law enforcement then informed them that White was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead just 18 minutes after arrival.

Fox 7 reported that the murder, which was the city’s eighth homicide of 2025, took place in the 2300 block of Douglas Street in South Austin, a residential neighborhood.
The outlet reported that Austin Police responded to the scene and encountered a male victim “with obvious signs of trauma.” The manner of death has not been released as of this report.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza,” InfoWars said in an official statement.
“We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice,” the statement continued. “Jamie’s important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers, and our cherished listeners.”
During Monday’s broadcast, Jones revealed that law enforcement believes they have an idea of who the suspect(s) are. “I’m gonna leave it at that,” Jones said. “They didn’t want to tell us whether it was a stabbing or a shooting. I can just tell you that from the amount of blood I heard, it was serious. They were there scrubbing his blood off the ground when our folks got there.”
