January 6th Committee Members Covered Up Damaging Admissions From Top Investigator
During an NBC News broadcast on Tuesday a Chief Investigator of the January 6th committee made some fairly ASTOUNDING remarks regarding January 6th itself…
Chief Investigator Tim Heaphy was being interviewed by Lester Holt on NBC News when he made the stunning admission marking one of the rare times a mainstream media outlet has covered such a vital report regarding January 6th.
The committee itself argued with surveillance footage of the January 6th event itself that the chaos of the situation led to the Capitol being broken into. However, Heaphy argued on NBC News that something else could entirely be the case.
During the interview, Heaphy claims that the storming of the Capitol was entirely preventable and could have been avoided before anyone even entered the Capitol itself.
Lester Holt, NBC News’ reporter for the broadcast then claims that multiple committee members on the January 6th committee INTENTIONALLY suppressed information that shows the attack was avoidable.
NBC reporter’s that the potential motive for committee members such as Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff for withholding this information was to maintain focus on Donald Trump.
Not only is their act heinous but it blatantly shows that the January 6th Committee was only a ploy to tarnish Donald Trump’s name and affect his political career negatively.
“I think it would have been a lot different had law enforcement taken a more assertive, protective posture. The intel in advance was pretty specific, and it was enough, in our view, for law enforcement to have done a better job operationalizing a secure perimeter,” Heaphy says during the interview.
“Law enforcement had a very direct role in contributing to the failures, the security failures that led to the violence,” the Chief Investigator goes on to say.
Check out a clip of the interview itself below:
NBC actually admitted that the government could have stopped the January 6 Capitol riots if it had taken the intelligence they received seriously.

In the interview, the investigator reveals that the FBI not only knew that the attack was going to happen but that they were entirely sure of the intel they had. Yet they did not act in ways to prevent the attack.
Without knowing the exact motive for not acting in preventive measures, it is difficult to see any reason but the fact that the FBI or any law enforcement were under some order not to intervene and attempt to prevent the situation from occurring.
“People familiar with the committee’s work tell NBC News [that] members downplayed that findings because they wanted to keep the focus on former President Trump,” a reporter says during the interview of the Chief Investigator.
Later in the interview, Heaphy reportedly talks about the downplaying of the law enforcement failures before being quoted as saying that he agreed with the Committee’s findings on Trump yet they fail to recognize the failures of the federal law enforcement agencies that took place on that day.
It is unclear if any repercussions will follow for those who participated in the federal law enforcement failures but nevertheless the January 6th Committee’s failure to do THEIR job in investigating EVERY issue has finally come to light…
