Jasmine Crockett Calls Trump ‘Piece Of S**t’ As Her Political Future Faces Sudden Jeopardy
Down and on the ropes, “Squad” Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) lashed out at President Donald Trump in vulgar terms on Sunday, calling him a “piece of s**t” in her latest rant against the president.
Her comments came at a far-left rally in Phoenix, Arizona, organized by MoveOn as part of its “We Won’t Back Down” tour. But despite the political and policy differences highlighted there, it was Crockett’s screed that seemed to overshadow all else in press coverage of the event.
“Listen, Donald Trump is a piece of s**t. OK, we know that,” she yelled over cheers from the crowd.
“He is, he is,” she continued, “but in a functioning democracy, he still would not be able to get away with this.”
Crockett then accused congressional Republicans and the U.S. Supreme Court of being “complicit” in Trump’s Washington, D.C. dominance.
“They refuse to put guardrails on themselves,” Crockett said of Supreme Court justices. “So it’s time for us to do it for them.”
Ironically, the two-term Squad member’s self-promotional appearance juxtaposed with the “Fight Oligarchy” tour currently underway by fellow Squad member Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Crockett has previously critiqued the duo for promoting themselves rather than “the team.”
Their tour, she said back in March, “kind of makes people be like, Oh, it’s about them, right? Instead of the team.”

Crockett’s private criticism of her progressive colleagues was included in a new profile piece in The Atlantic which ran shortly after the Texas lawmaker banned the reporter from her office for speaking with too many other lawmakers without her permission.
In the story, Crockett is described has having a “monster ego” that’s illustrated daily on her phone’s lock screen, where she keeps a picture of herself, as well as her finely drawn fingernails painted with the word “resist.”
“I don’t even know what to call him. I’ve called him so many things,” she said about Trump in the piece.
She has previously called the president a “dictator,” an “enemy to the United States,” a “buffoon,” and a “mofo,” according to the NY Post.
Crockett raised eyebrows earlier this year after referring to her home state governor, Greg Abbott, as “Governor Hot Wheels.” Abbott uses a wheelchair.
After bipartisan blowback, Crockett backpedaled and claimed the quip was a reference to the Republican governor busing and flying migrants to other parts of the country, but that explanation fell flat with the online mob, who continued to harangue her for weeks.
Last month, President Trump lifted up Crockett on a podcast appearance, calling her the “new star” of the Democratic Party and a “low-IQ” congressperson.
