Joe Biden Vows To Build A ‘Sixty-Zillion-Dollar Bridge In Balmur’

President Joe Biden told a small group of supporters that he is prepared to spend exuberant amounts of money to rebuild the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, which collapsed earlier this year.

“My father is from Maryland, but it’s not ‘Balt-im-ore,’ it’s Balmur,” Biden said, drawing laughs from the handpicked group of supporters. “And we’re rebuilding a sixty-zillion-dollar bridge in Balmur.”

Biden made a number of campaign stops on Wednesday as part of his campaign’s effort to reenergize black voters. Recent polling has shown that the president is losing support among they key demographic, a trend that could sink his re-election bid if it holds.

While addressing another tiny group of supporters in Philadelphia, the president’s speech devolved into a dark, race-baiting attack on former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

What do you think he would have done on January 6th, if black Americans had stormed the Capitol? Think about this. What do you think would have happened if black Americans had stormed the Capitol?” Biden said, ignoring the fact that several black Americans have been slapped with a litany of charges for peacefully protesting on January 6, 2021. “I don’t think he’d be talking about pardons. It’s the same guy who wanted to tear gas you as you peacefully protested George Floyd’s murder.”

Despite the president’s assertions, Black Lives Matter rioters from 2020 have been treated with far more lenience than January 6 protesters. More than 1,400 January 6 supporters have been charged with crimes in relation to the January 6 protests, with arrests continuing to this day. All but one has been convicted thus far, with more than 60 percent of defendants receiving prison sentences despite having clean criminal records.

As for the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020, an analysis from The Guardian found that 99 percent of charges against rioters were dropped. This includes federal charges against those who bombed federal courthouses and other buildings.

Not a single person has faced jail time for storming the White House in 2020.
