Joy Behar Makes Damaging Admission About Trump After Colorado Ruling

Published

Joy Behar, co-host of ‘The View,’ has recently come under fire on social media for her remarks about the Colorado Supreme Court decision and its implications for former President Donald Trump. Behar’s statement, “The law must defeat him,” in response to a tweet has sparked a wave of criticism from voices online.

The controversy stems from the Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling, which has been interpreted by many as an effort to prevent Trump from running for office again. Behar’s comments have been perceived as an endorsement of legal maneuvers to disqualify Trump, bypassing the electoral process.

“Joe, the ballot box can’t compete with the third party candidates who will take votes from Joe Biden,” Behar wrote. “And let us not forget the electoral college. The law must defeat him.”

Joe Walsh, in his initial tweet, expressed his reservations about the ruling. While he believed Trump committed insurrection, he noted that Trump hasn’t been formally convicted, calling into question the validity of using such a basis to bar him from office.

“The best and ONLY way to defeat Trump is at the ballot box, not to kick him off the ballot,” Walsh wrote. “Defeat him at the ballot box. That’s what’s best for the country.”

Behar’s response to Walsh, suggesting that the law should be used to defeat Trump, has been met with significant criticism. The reaction is particularly notable given Behar’s previous claim that a Trump primary victory would lead to a Democratic win.
