BREAKING: Barron Trump ‘Saved Woman’s Life’ With Quick Decision, Testimony Reveals
Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, helped save a woman’s life in London after dialing police when he witnessed her being beaten during a video call, a British court heard.
Barron Trump called 999 after hearing what he believed was Russian national Matvei Rumiantsev repeatedly punching a woman inside his London flat, prosecutors told Snaresbrook Crown Court.
Rumiantsev, 22, was said to be jealous of Mr. Trump’s relationship with the woman and became enraged after the American tried to contact her earlier that evening.
Prosecutors said Rumiantsev answered a video call placed to the woman’s phone by the president’s son, showed Mr. Trump her face, then grabbed her hair and shoved her to the floor while shouting, “you are not worth anything.”
Jurors were told Rumiantsev called the woman a “slut” and a “whore” during the attack and kicked her in the stomach as she lay on the floor near a refrigerator.
Mr. Trump, 19, spent time figuring out how to reach British emergency services before telling a call handler: “I just got a call from a girl… She’s getting beaten up.”
In a recording played for jurors, he provided the woman’s address and added: “It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.”
Mr. Trump said he knew the woman through social media and apologized after being scolded by the operator for refusing to answer questions.
The call handler told him: “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you. So how do you know her?”
Mr. Trump replied: “I met her on social media. She’s getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don’t know what could have happened by now.”
“So sorry for being rude,” he added.
Barron Trump, who stands 6-foot-7, is the president’s fifth child and his only son with first lady Melania Trump.
Police body-worn footage shown in court captured the woman telling officers, “I am friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son,” according to the Metro.
One officer was then heard telling a colleague: “So apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump’s son.”
The woman was asked to call Mr. Trump back, and he told officers he could see her crying and being struck during the FaceTime call.
“I called you guys – that was the best thing I could do. I wasn’t going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse,” Mr. Trump told officers.
Testifying in court, the woman said: “He (Barron Trump) helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.”

New York, NY – July 20, 2022: Former President Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Barron Trump
Rumiantsev has been charged with two counts of rape, assault, actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. Police went to his home in Poplar, east London, in the early hours of Jan. 18, 2025, after receiving two emergency calls from the woman and one from Mr. Trump.
The woman told officers she had been slapped, punched, kicked and strangled.
While in custody, Rumiantsev allegedly tricked officers into letting him call the woman and was overheard saying words to the effect of “while you are sleeping in your warm bed, I’m in jail,” prosecutor Serena Gates said.
Eight days later, Rumiantsev allegedly called a friend from prison and said he had sent a letter urging the woman to withdraw her statement.
She initially withdrew it, but later told police her original account was true, alleging the former MMA fighter sexually assaulted her twice.
She said Rumiantsev deliberately got her drunk so she could not consent and told her, “you never want to do this with me so I make you drink and do this to you.”
Defense attorney Sasha Wass KC suggested the woman’s claims were “untrue and fabricated.”
Rumiantsev denies assault, actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation and perverting the course of justice.
