JUST IN: Biden Hit With Serious Health Scare: ‘Too Early To Tell’

Physicians to former President Joe Biden have uncovered potentially cancerous signs during a routine physical, his team admitted on Tuesday.

A “small nodule” on the 82-year-old’s prostate was discovered during a recent physical exam, a spokesman confirmed.

“In a routine physical exam a small nodule was found in the prostate which necessitated further evaluation,” the source told ABC News.

They declined to reveal any further details about the diagnoses, according to the New York Times.

Prostate conditions are common among men in their 80s such as Biden, who left the White House in January after completing his second term as the oldest sitting president in the nation’s history.

During Biden’s four years in office, concerns about his health were an ever-present danger to his reelection chances, regularly pushing his press team on the defensive while simultaneously trying to shake off the economic sluggishness of the pandemic. Their efforts ultimately proved unsuccessful when Biden dropped out following a disastrous debate performance where the signs of advanced aging and mental decline became impossible to ignore.

The medical scare comes as CNN’s Jake Tapper prepares to release a new tell-all book that’s sure to shake the foundations of Biden’s inner circle, especially given the intra-party sniping that’s been pronounced in leaked snippets. On Tuesday it was reported that David Plouffe, one of the advisors who engineered former President Barack Obama’s come-from-behind victory over Hillary Clinton in 2008, told sources that Biden “totally f***ed us” by remaining in the race too long, leaving former Vice President Kamala Harris with just 107 days to mount a formidable campaign to defeat President Donald Trump.

According to Tapper, White House discussions about Biden’s deteriorating health got so grave that aides seriously contemplated wheeling him around the Oval Office in a wheelchair if he won a second term.

In February 2024, months before Biden dropped out, his presidential physician completed his last exam and declared the then-81-year-old “fit to serve.” When the NY Post caught up with Dr. Kevin O’Connor in July 2024 after Biden had dropped out, he again insisted that the former president’s health at the time was “excellent.”

A Biden spokesperson denied claims of a coverup, which is alleged in Tapper’s new book “Original Sin,” co-authored by Axios’ Alex Thompson.

“Yes, there were physical changes as he got older, but evidence of aging is not evidence of mental incapacity,” the spokesperson said.

President Biden has also taken to the airwaves in a bid to save his embattled legacy. Last week, he appeared to stumble over his words during a softball interview on ABC’s “The View,” causing his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, to interject and take over the conversation.

It was also reported last week that Biden has hired a communications staffer to help guide the post-White House discussion around his four years in office and serve as a rebuttal to Democratic infighting accusing him of undermining Harris by staying in the race to long or, in other instances, demanding she give “no daylight” between her campaign positions and his, stripping her of the ability to break with an unpopular incumbent.
