JUST IN: Bombshell Poll Suggests Democrats Are In Big Trouble For 2028 And Beyond
New polling data is revealing a highly inconvenient truth for the Democrat Party and its uncertain future. The information paints a stark picture for those hopeful that the liberal party will bounce back during both the midterms and the 2028 presidential race.
An RMG Research poll conducted in June has revealed that when it comes to the choice of presidential candidates, Republicans are stomping all over Democrats by a score of 52 percent to 39 percent. A plurality (35%) of American voters want their presidential candidate in the next election to be a Trump Republican.
Others want to see the commander-in-chief be a traditional Democrat at 22 percent, while only 17 percent want a traditional Republican. Bringing up the rear are the 17% who wish to see an AOC-style Democrat in the Oval Office.
According to the New York Post, the “No Kings” protests held in California this week didn’t do much to bolster support for the Democratic Party. A majority of American voters are still standing with President Donald Trump on the issue of immigration, which remains Trump’s strongest policy position.
Earlier in the month of June, riots and looting broke out after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents began deportation operations in the city of Los Angeles. Many believe the media coverage of the violence and chaos, and the way liberal politicians responded to it, will ultimately help Republicans come election time.
Something that’s also further damaging Democrats is the loss of Christian voters of all kinds. A poll noted in an article from Time Magazine revealed that 75 percent of Christians — including Catholics and other sects — say they no longer have any trust in the Democratic Party.
Out of this number, 70 percent said they have no faith in the federal government, along with 61 percent thinking that life in America is significantly harder now for religious people than it was a decade ago.
Progressive Pastor Doug Pagitt said, “You can’t be the majority party if you ignore the majority faith in this country.”
The report points out that Democrats have had a difficult time making room for people of faith in their party. Time notes this is largely due to Democrats feeling that if they embrace a religious point of view, they risk sacrificing their dedication to inclusivity.
“Republicans have made a concerted effort,” Pagitt continued. “Democrats have done everything they can never to name that identity. They have a built-in bias against these identities in the Democratic Party.”
