JUST IN: DOGE Bombshell Reveals Biden Aide Earned Millions Through Shady Contract

The U.S. Department of Government Efficiency announced on Wednesday that it has uncovered evidence of a top Biden aide receiving millions of federal dollars to fuel a facility meant for housing recent migrants but which has remained empty for the duration of the country’s crisis.

A Texas nonprofit tied to one of former President Joe Biden’s transition team members was on the receiving end of a government contract for its overflow facility in Pecos. Family Endeavors, which had employed the transition team member since 2021, saw its “cash and portfolio of investments grew from $8.3M in 2020 to $520.4M in 2023” with the sole source of funds coming from the feds, according to a statement by DOGE.

Since March of 2024, Family Endeavors’ managers have reliably received $18 million per month to operate a facility meant for housing unaccompanied migrant children. Despite reporting no residents, the money kept flowing, the statement added.

“With national licensed facility occupancy now below 20%, HHS was able to terminate this contract, saving taxpayers over $215M annually,” states the post on X, which also tags Washington D.C. U.S. Attorney Ed Martin.

Photos of the facility show a fleet of idle golf carts and an untouched cafeteria-style space, just a smidgen of assets never used as the nation dealt with a historic influx of illegal immigrants and migrants who entered legally under expanded asylum programs put in place by the Biden-Harris administration.

President Trump has since canceled or dramatically scaled back those asylum programs, and the number of illegal border crossings has fallen to the lowest level seen in years.

Endeavors’ contract is at least the second politically connected discovery by DOGE, which earlier this month revealed that an organization tied to failed Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams had been receiving at least $2 billion in grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. According to an EPA press release, Abrams’ “community investment group” was being funded by the Biden-Harris administration to help install heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, solar panels, home battery systems, EV chargers, and weatherization upgrades despite reporting just $100 in revenue in 2023.

DOGE and Elon Musk have been at the forefront of President Trump’s crusade to eliminate billions in wasteful spending from the federal budget. At the cabinet’s first meeting on Wednesday, Musk labored to keep cabinet members focused on his cause while carrying out their responsibilities.

“If we don’t do this, America is going to be bankrupt,” he said, Fox News reported.

An internal goal set by Musk aims to reduce federal expenditures by $4 billion per day. If successful, the mercurial entrepreneur predicts DOGE can achieve $1 trillion in savings by September.

Americans’ confidence in DOGE remains high: Recent polls show that 72% support its mission, and President Trump has suggested that “DOGE dividends” may be returned to taxpayers in the form of checks resulting from savings.

On Wednesday, the Trump administration scored its biggest legal victory yet when U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts sided with DOGE in its funding freeze of $2 billion to contractors who performed work for the U.S. Agency for International Development. Officials have contended that they intend to complete the payments but are in the process of searching for evidence of waste, fraud, and abuse.
