HAPPENING NOW: Rioters Attack Federal Agents Across Los Angeles For Second Consecutive Day
Less than 24 hours after a far-left mob attacked federal agents and surrounded a federal building in Los Angeles, rioters have violently taken to the streets once again.
Footage captured by on-the-ground reporter Jeremy Lindenfeld shows a sizable group of rioters surrounding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Paramount, California. Rioters — many of whom were flying foreign flags — could be seen shoving federal agents as they were gearing up for immigration enforcement actions.
Additional footage shows about a dozen rioters surrounding an ICE vehicle and proceeding to kick it, hurl projectiles and prevent agents from leaving.
Fox Los Angeles reporter Matthew Seedorff reported that his team observed at least two arrests of rioters who shoved federal agents. Seedorff further reported that the location in question was not the site of an immigration raid, but a staging area.
Agents were also forced to deploy less-than-lethal crowd control measures, including rubber bullets and tear gas, for a second consecutive day in Los Angeles County.
Additional footage obtained by Lindenfeld shows the mob pelting ICE vehicles with rocks and other projectiles as they exited the area.

Bill Essayli, U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, warned that any individual who interferes with immigration operations or assaults federal officers will be identified and arrested.
“Federal law enforcement operations are proceeding as planned this weekend in Los Angeles County. I urge the public to refrain from interfering with these lawful actions,” Essayli wrote in an X post. “Anyone who obstructs federal agents will face arrest and prosecution.”
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller described the rapidly-expanding riots as an “insurrection against the laws and sovereignty of the United States,” in an X post of his own. “If we don’t fix this, we don’t have a country,” he added in a follow-up post.

The latest outbreak of violence comes under 24 hours after a large mob of rioters surrounded the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles and proceeded to surround federal agents. Masked rioters armed with hammers and clubs proceeded to smash barriers and windows while agents trapped inside the building received no immediate assistance from the Los Angeles Police Department after they were ordered to stand down by Chief Jim McDonnell.
“Today the LAPD became aware that federal law enforcement agencies conducted activities in the City of Los Angeles. I’m aware that these actions cause anxiety for many Angelenos, so I want to make it clear: the LAPD is not involved in civil immigration enforcement,” McDonnell wrote in a press release as last night’s riots were ongoing.
“While the LAPD will continue to have a visible presence in all our communities to ensure public safety, we will not assist or participate in any sort of mass deportations nor will the LAPD try to determine an individual’s immigration status.”
LAPD eventually did move in shortly after 7 p.m. local time, but it is unclear what the department response looks like for today’s disturbances as of this report.
FBI Director Kash Patel issued a response to a similar statement from Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who said the city’s leaders “will not stand” for the deportation of illegal aliens. “We will,” the director wrote in response.
Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed that the bureau was combing through footage of Friday night’s siege and vowed additional arrests. “Multiple arrests have already been made for obstructing our operations. More are coming. We are pouring through the videos for more perpetrators,” Bongino wrote in an X post. “You bring chaos, and we’ll bring handcuffs. Law and order will prevail.”
The deputy director further confirmed that the bureau is working to identify individuals who pelted rocks at federal agents in Paramount on Saturday afternoon.
