JUST IN: GOP AG Calls For Investigation That Could Undo Biden’s Entire Term: ‘Legally Void’

A Republican state attorney general is calling on the U.S. Department of Justice to launch an investigation into whether aides to former President Joe Biden purposely hid his cognitive decline in order to push through a far-left agenda before he left office.

The allegation is a sweeping condemnation of policies put in place during Biden’s final months, many of which have been rescinded since President Donald Trump entered office in January. In a public letter, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey declared much of the Biden agenda “legally void” after he ended his reelection campaign following weeks of pressure by fellow Democrats to step aside.

“By now, Biden’s mental decline is famous. Under the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power,” Bailey writes in a letter to Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz. “Instead, it appears staffers and officers in the Biden administration may have exploited Biden’s incapacity so they could issue orders without an accountable President of sound mind approving them.”

He goes on: “That would explain why the Biden administration’s orders were aggressively much farther to the left than any previous President. If in fact Biden’s staffers were exploiting his mental decline, those orders are null and void.”

Although Republicans fiercely attacked President Biden with calls for his cabinet to remove him from office, it does not appear that any serious discussions to that effect were had by his inner circle. Instead, aides kept the 82-year-old closely guarded from unscripted public appearances, limiting his interactions with the press and keeping his remarks confined to what was on the teleprompter any given day.

However, some of the disclosures on spending by the Biden administration raise questions about whether progressive underlings took advantage of his mental decline to steer federal dollars toward pet initiatives. Last month, the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency uncovered a $2 billion grant from Biden’s Environmental Protection Agency to an organization founded by Stacey Abrams, the Georgia Democratic organizer and failed candidate for governor.

Bailey cites an interview by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), in which he states that Biden “did not know what orders he was signing.” The revelation occurred when Johnson met with the former president to discuss an executive order he signed limiting liquified natural gas imports, which proved devastating to the economy of Louisiana.

“I didn’t do that,” Biden is alleged to have told Johnson, according to the NY Post.

“Sir, you paused it, I know. I have the export terminals in my state. I talked to those people in my state, I’ve talked to those people this morning, this is doing massive damage to our economy, national security,” Johnson replied.

The encounter, Bailey writes, gives “profound reasons to suspect that Biden’s staff and political allies exploited his mental decline to issue purported presidential orders without his knowing approval.”

During his final days and hours in office, President Biden issued a slew of controversial pardons, including for his son Hunter, as he battled federal charges of tax evasion. Most of the federal inmates on death row saw their sentences commuted to life in prison, another far-left action Bailey claims could have been at the discretion of Biden’s aides.

“Who has been running the country for the last few years? I fear that Mr. Biden, while he held the office of President, did so in name only and was a mere puppet for far-left, unelected staffers. The people deserve to know the truth,” Bailey’s letter concludes.
