JUST IN: Lara Trump Scores Primetime Hosting Gig On Fox News
Lara Trump is set to make her return to Fox News, this time as the host of a new primetime weekend program.
‘My View with Lara Trump’ will debut on February 22, airing Saturdays from 9-10 PM ET, the network announced Wednesday. The move is part of a weekend programming shuffle that will see One Nation with Brian Kilmeade shift to Sundays from 10-11 PM ET.
Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised Trump as a “gifted communicator” who resonates with the American public. “Lara’s innate understanding of the American public and today’s political landscape will be a compelling addition to our weekend lineup,” Scott said in a statement.
Lara, who recently served as co-chair of the Republican National Committee, announced, “I’m thrilled to bring my voice back to FOX News, talk directly with the American people, and highlight what makes this country so great.”
“As I cover the success of The Golden Age of America, I look forward to where this time will lead our country and where this opportunity will lead me in the future.”

The show is expected to focus on what Trump calls the “return of common sense” in American life. It will feature in-depth political analysis and interviews with key figures shaping the national conversation. Trump, the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, has long been active in conservative politics.
She was a senior adviser during her father-in-law’s 2020 presidential campaign and played a role in Republican victories in 2024. She also hosted the online show ‘The Right View’ and was previously a Fox News contributor from 2021-2022.
A source close to Fox’s negotiation tactics revealed to DailyMail the possibility of Lara’s contract reaching up to $5 million over two years. They also mentioned that it’s probable the network arranged for a studio in Florida, allowing her to host her show from home.
“MAGA is cooler now,” the source added, suggesting that Fox has increased its budget to present ‘higher-than-usual’ financial offers to members of the president’s inner circle.
This comes after President Trump withdrew her nomination for the Florida Senate seat, previously held by Marco Rubio (R-FL) following his transition to the State Department, in December.
Lara is Eric Trump’s wife, the third son of President Trump. Lara’s professional media career includes a stint as a story coordinator and producer at “Inside Edition” from 2012 to 2016.

She and Eric celebrated their wedding on November 8, 2014, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. The couple has two children: a son born in September 2017 and a daughter born in August 2019.
Lara played a role in Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign by leading the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour and managing digital operations. In 2020, she served as a senior advisor for Trump’s re-election campaign.
She joined Fox News as a contributor in March 2021 but left in December 2022 after Donald Trump announced his 2024 presidential bid, complying with Fox News’ policies on political candidacy.
Lara has also ventured into music, releasing a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” in 2023, which reached No. 10 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, followed by her original single “Hero” in January 2025.
