JUST IN: Megyn Kelly Blows The Whistle On Rogue Judges Pushing Back Against Trump

Megyn Kelly warned on Tuesday that the Democratic Party’s strategy of leveraging the court system to halt President Donald Trump’s administration will ultimately backfire. Kelly argued that despite a flood of lawsuits, many of the cases will likely favor Trump in the end.

Kelly pointed out that Democrats have filed “40 lawsuits so far” with the intent to obstruct Trump’s executive authority. “The Democrats think they’ve found the speed bump they’ve been looking for,” she said.

Many of these cases, she noted, rely on obtaining temporary restraining orders that prevent Trump from implementing his policies until full hearings can be held.

“They’re winning temporary restraining orders to say, ‘You can’t enforce that law until we have a full hearing on it,’” Kelly said. “And they’re like, ‘Oh, it’s a huge win, we’re shutting down Trump’s ability to change the government.’”

Kelly dismissed the idea that these legal maneuvers constitute major victories for Democrats, describing the process as overblown. “There’s literally only one example of [Trump] being ordered to resume payments to federal agencies where then the plaintiff said he didn’t resume doing that fast enough,” she explained.

However, Kelly noted that Trump’s legal team responded appropriately by outlining the payments being made and clarifying the situation to the court. Democrats and media figures have repeatedly claimed that Trump’s defiance of certain court orders amounts to a “constitutional crisis.”

However, Kelly argued that Trump has not refused to comply with any court ruling, nor has he “flipped the bird to any judge.” Instead, she contended that the executive branch retains significant control over federal spending and that many of the current lawsuits against Trump will be overturned.

“This judge is going to get overruled. The executive branch is allowed to control a lot of how the money gets spent, whether it gets spent,” Kelly said.

“They can’t shut down entire agencies that are authorized by Congress, but they do have a lot of control over money.” According to Kelly, nine out of ten cases filed against Trump will ultimately be decided in his favor.

“Now, where were all these people when Joe Biden was trampling on the Constitution?” she asked. Kelly referenced Biden’s response after the Supreme Court blocked his student loan forgiveness plan.

Biden had openly defied the ruling, saying, “Supreme Court blocked me from relieving student debt, but they didn’t stop me. I found two other ways to do it.”

“That was fine,” Kelly remarked sarcastically. “He added an amendment to the Constitution with a tweet. That was fine.”

She also recalled Biden’s eviction moratorium, which the Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional. Unlike Trump, whose legal challenges remain at the district court level, Biden openly ignored the highest court’s ruling, she argued.

Trump’s executive orders have faced immediate legal challenges, including his proposal to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants and his freeze on certain federal expenditures. Kelly asserted that Trump expected his policies to be challenged and was deliberately setting the stage for the Supreme Court to weigh in.

“Trump 100% knew that that would be blocked. There’s zero doubt he understood that was going to be blocked. He is trying to tee up an appeal that will go up to SCOTUS,” she explained.

“He’s not dumb. The lawyers advising him are not dumb.”

Despite temporary rulings against Trump, Kelly remains confident that the majority of the cases will eventually favor his administration.
