A new angle of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump has emerged.

The new angle appears to have been filmed from the side of Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. It shows the seconds before gunfire erupted shortly after 6:15 p.m., at which point Secret Service agents rushed the stage and dove on top of the former president.

Two Secret Service snipers can be seen scanning the area where the shots ultimately came from before the gunman opened fire. They immediately responded with shots of their own.

It is unknown if the snipers fired the shots that killed the would-be assassin, though the Secret Service has confirmed that the gunman has been neutralized.

The Secret Service has confirmed that the gunman opened fire from a rooftop that was overlooking the event.
