JUST IN: Obama Makes MAJOR Move To Oust Biden
As Joe Biden navigates difficulties leading the nation, his age and mental acuity have remained the focal point of discussion among politicians, primarily the Democratic Party. Holding the record as the oldest sitting president in U.S. history, Biden’s series of public gaffes sparked concerns over his cognitive health. Now even former President Barack Obama has reportedly expressed his concerns about Biden’s re-election prospects.
According to insiders privy to Obama’s thoughts who spoke to The Washington Post, Obama has recently conveyed to allies that Biden’s path to victory appears increasingly precarious. Notably, Obama has limited his direct communication with Biden, having only spoken to him once post-debate.
In these discussions, Obama has stressed that the future of Biden’s candidacy rests solely with the president himself, a protective measure towards Biden and his presidential legacy. Obama’s stance is clear: he is keen on safeguarding Biden, yet he resists the notion that he could single-handedly steer Biden’s decision-making regarding his political future.
According to sources who spoke to WaPo, Obama has been actively involved in strategic discussions, receiving calls from numerous concerned Democrats. These calls include significant figures such as former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). People with knowledge of these private conversations, speaking under the condition of anonymity, highlighted Obama’s engagement and his candid sharing of insights about the hurdles Biden is facing.
The Washington Post reported:
Obama sees his role as a sounding board and counselor to his former vice president, telling allies that he feels protective of Biden. In these conversations, Obama has said he thinks Biden has been a great president and wants to protect his accomplishments, which could be in jeopardy if Republicans control the White House and both chambers of Congress next year.
In some conversations, Obama, who has long looked to data for political insights, has told people he is concerned that the polls are moving away from Biden, that former president Donald Trump’s electoral path is expanding and that donors are abandoning the president.
Publicly, Biden and his campaign advisers have remained defiant, saying the president will not drop out of the race. On Wednesday, Biden cut short a campaign swing in Las Vegas because he tested positive for the coronavirus. He returned to Rehoboth Beach, Del., where he has a vacation home, to quarantine.
Principal deputy campaign manager Quentin Fulks said Thursday morning that Biden’s campaign was moving ahead. “He is not wavering on anything,” Fulks said. “The president has made his decision. I don’t want to be rude, but I don’t know how many more times we can answer that.”
The fallout from Biden’s problematic performance at the June 27 debate sent ripples through the Democratic Party, prompting donors, activists, and officials to seek guidance from a cadre of seasoned political leaders. “Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know,” Obama wrote on X after Biden’s poor debate performance in June. “Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November.”
Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the…

Despite his preference for discretion, Obama’s pivotal role as a former party leader makes him a central figure in these discussions. Publicly, Obama has offered supportive gestures towards Biden, yet the gravity of the situation is echoed by former Obama advisers who are openly skeptical about Biden’s chances.
High-profile figures like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have both held discussions with Biden, openly expressing their concerns that his continued candidacy might jeopardize Democratic control of Congress. Nancy Pelosi, ever influential, has been particularly assertive behind the scenes, countering Biden’s attempts to quell the ongoing debates about his run for office. As a result, some of Biden’s aides have voiced their frustration over Obama’s influence, arguing that his involvement is fracturing party unity.
