JUST IN: Pam Bondi Drops The Hammer On ‘Tesla Terrorists’

Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a strong warning to those targeting Tesla properties, vowing severe legal consequences for what she calls “domestic terrorism.” In a press release Thursday, Bondi announced criminal charges against three individuals accused of carrying out coordinated attacks on Tesla dealerships and charging stations using Molotov cocktails.

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

The suspects, arrested in Oregon, Colorado, and South Carolina, face felony charges that carry sentences ranging from five to 20 years in prison. Law enforcement officials say the crimes were politically motivated, citing the suspects’ opposition to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s role in the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The latest arrests come amid a wave of vandalism and threats against Tesla, particularly due to Musk’s political involvement. Protest groups, including the so-called “Tesla Takedown” movement, have organized boycotts and demonstrations, some of which have escalated into violent acts.

Recent attacks have included incidents in Las Vegas, Nevada, where several Tesla vehicles were set on fire outside a service center, with “RESIST” spray-painted on the building; Seattle, Washington, where four Cybertrucks were torched in a dealership lot; and Tigard, Oregon, where gunfire damaged a Tesla showroom.

Additionally, a website known as “DogeQuest” has surfaced, publishing personal information of Tesla owners and employees associated with DOGE. The site, featuring an interactive map with a Molotov cocktail cursor, has fueled fears of potential violence against private citizens.

While the accuracy of the leaked data is unconfirmed, its presence has heightened security concerns. Tesla drivers have also reported harassment, with some choosing to disguise their vehicles by replacing Tesla logos with other brands’ emblems to avoid being targeted.

Discussions on platforms such as Reddit reveal strategies owners are using to protect themselves and their cars. The surge in vandalism has had financial repercussions. Insurance premiums for Tesla vehicles have spiked due to increased risk, and resale values have suffered as some owners seek to distance themselves from the controversy surrounding the brand.

“The swarm of violent attacks on Tesla property is nothing short of domestic terrorism,” Bondi said in a statement Tuesday. “The Department of Justice has already charged several perpetrators with that in mind, including in cases that involve charges with five-year mandatory minimum sentences.”

“We will continue investigations that impose severe consequences on those involved in these attacks, including those operating behind the scenes to coordinate and fund these crimes.”

Musk told Sean Hannity on Tuesday, “It’s really come as quite a shock to me that there is this level of real hatred and violence from the left.”

“I thought the left, you know, Democrats, were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring. And yet they’re burning down cars. They’re firebombing dealerships. They’re firing bullets into dealerships. They’re just smashing up Teslas.”
