JUST IN: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Shocking Sex Trafficking Charges Are Revealed
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the prominent music mogul known for his significant contributions to hip-hop and R&B since the early 1990s, is facing serious criminal charges.
In a grand jury indictment revealed today, Combs has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The allegations are part of an extensive indictment that claims Combs operated a criminal enterprise that engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, interstate transportation for purposes of prostitution, and other serious offenses, including kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice since 2008.
Combs, 54, was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel on West 57th Street in Manhattan, where he had been living for several weeks. The arrest, executed by federal agents on Monday evening, was based on this sealed indictment from the Southern District of New York, which was then unsealed the following day.
The indictment portrays Combs as the leader of a years-long criminal scheme that threatened and abused women, coercing them into participating in drug-fueled orgies with male prostitutes. The indictment accuses him of drawing women into his circle under the guise of romantic relationships, only to allegedly use force, threats, and coercion to compel them into prolonged sexual activities with male sex workers. Following these events, often referred to as “Freak Offs,” it is claimed that Combs and the participants would receive IV fluids to recuperate from the physical toll and substance use involved.
Combs was expected to appear for an arraignment in Manhattan on Tuesday, a development confirmed by U.S. Attorney Damian Williams. This marks a dramatic and troubling turn in the career of a figure who once dominated the music industry and the tabloids with his productions and extravagant lifestyle. While the indictment provides some specifics about these accusations, it is less detailed about the alleged kidnapping incidents, noting only that these, along with acts of arson and bribery, took place in California.
In terms of drug-related charges, Combs is accused of intending to distribute several controlled substances, including cocaine, oxycodone, Xanax, GHB (commonly known as the “date rape” drug), MDMA, and ketamine. Allegedly, Combs not only observed these drug-fueled gatherings but also engaged in recording the activities, sometimes even while masturbating. According to prosecutors, Combs supposedly utilized the “sensitive, embarrassing, and incriminating” footage recorded during these sessions as leverage to ensure the victims’ continued compliance and silence.
The indictment does not name any victims specifically, referring only to an unnamed “Victim 1” under the sex trafficking charges. During raids at Combs’s residences in Beverly Hills and Miami, authorities reportedly confiscated various items associated with the “Freak Offs,” including narcotics and extensive quantities of baby oil and lubricants. Additionally, firearms were seized, among them three AR-15 rifles with altered serial numbers and a drum magazine. These developments paint a complex and severe picture of the legal challenges now facing Combs.
Marc Agnifilo, one of Combs’s attorneys, spoke confidently outside the federal courthouse on Tuesday morning, stating, “He’s going to plead not guilty, obviously. He’s going to fight this with all of his energy and all of his might, and the full confidence of his lawyers. And I expect a long battle with a good result for Mr. Combs,” Agnifilo said according to The New York Times.
