JUST IN: Senior Trump Official Refutes Exit Rumors, Blasts ‘Hit Piece’

White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles thoroughly refuted a “hit piece” from Vanity Fair that parsed together snippets of multiple conversations to paint the picture of Wiles’ unease in the White House. The piece sparked rumors that the veteran was set to imminently depart the administration, a claim that has been thoroughly debunked both by the White House and Wiles herself.

A viral segment of the post claimed to parse together snippets of 11 separate conversations with Wiles, claiming that she made several disparaging remarks towards the president and senior members of his cabinet. Among the alleged quotes are calling Vice President JD Vance a “conspiracy theorist,” claiming that Elon Musk abuses Ketamine and is an all-around “odd, odd duck,” and that President Trump has an “alcoholic’s personality.”

Shortly after the story went live, Wiles issued a response in a lengthy X post. “The article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history,” she wrote.

“Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.”

Wiles went on to express pride in the administration’s achievements, stating that the Trump White House has achieved “more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years.”

She credited the success to “the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade,” concluding the post with, “None of this will stop our relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again!”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also took to social media to dispute the report and praise Wiles for her work in the administration. “Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has helped President Trump achieve the most successful first 11 months in office of any President in American history,” Leavitt wrote.

“President Trump has no greater or more loyal advisor than Susie. The entire Administration is grateful for her steady leadership and united fully behind her.”

Wiles first started working with President Trump in 2015, when she served as co-chair for Florida’s campaign in the historic 2016 election, when Florida broke for Trump and has since trended significantly to the right. She went on to serve as co-manager of his nationwide campaign in 2024, earning widespread praise for her role in managing his comeback win.
