Kari Lake Announces Great News For 2024 Senate Campaign

A new report from Politico has indicated that the campaign of Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake in Arizona impressively charged off of the starting line in its first quarter of operation from October through Dec. 31st.

Lake, whose momentum was carried through her efforts to expose election irregularities in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election that saw her de facto loss to Democrat Katie Hobbs, pivoted to launch her Senate campaign in October while continuing her legal challenges. As recently as Dec. 18th AZ Central reported that though the Arizona Supreme Court had dismissed her latest suit, Lake is still appealing.

According to Politico, although her total cash-on-hand is not presently available, Lake raised an impressive $2.1 million from her campaign launch on Oct. 10th to Dec. 31st. The three-way race developing in Arizona could see Lake go toe to toe with former Democrat turned Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema and leading Democrat candidate Rep. Ruben Gallego should she emerge from the August Primary as the GOP candidate.

In the primary, Lake faces Republicans including Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb and several other trailing candidates. Polling from VCreek/AMG cited by FiveThirtyEight showed Lake leading Gallego 41% to 35%.  A Noble Predictive Insights poll from October showed Lamb trailing Gallego by three points.

Lake senior adviser Garrett Ventry said in a statement cited by Politico, “Kari Lake is outworking everyone, posting a very strong fundraising haul for her first quarter in the race. Arizona is the best pick up opportunity for Senate Republicans.”

As noted by the Republican Senate Committee, Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) explained that Lake “has strong grassroots support that is clearly translating to fundraising success.”

In a post to X on Jan. 8th Lake reposted the Senate Republicans’ comments with the caption, “I am running against the two most radical members of the @azdemparty. They are backed by the ActBlue and Soros Machines, but I’m not intimidated at all. Because I KNOW the people of Arizona are with me. We have built the greatest grassroots movement in America, and it’s growing by the hour. I am so grateful to all of you who have joined me in this fight. We are going to Save Arizona!”

Lake has earned the coveted endorsements of former President Donald J. Trump as well as rising star Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL), Chair of the House GOP Conference Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY).
