Arizona Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Kari Lake announced an effort to put presents under the Christmas tree for thousands of children and take a hammer to the inflationary policies of Bidenomics engineered by the White House.
As reported by The Western Journal, Lake, who is challenging Democrat-turned-Independent incumbent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) and Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), is running a toy drive this year as many candidates do. But the difference with Lake is that she’s crystal clear on why jolly ol’ Saint Nick needs a little more help than normal this year.
Lake explained in a campaign message Monday that “while it’s a time for joy and celebration, we also have to acknowledge that it’s going to be a harder one for our families than it was in years previously. Joe Biden’s economy is making it increasingly tough for families to put food on the table, gas in the car and put presents under the Christmas tree.”
The Republican former news anchor continued, “In these difficult times, it’s important that we come together and give back to our community.”
“Every one of these toys will go to help ease the burden on hardworking Arizona families and help bring a smile to a precious child’s face.”
I’m delighted to invite you to join me & Santa Claus for a Christmas Toy Drive.
We'll be accepting donations at Handlebar J in Scottsdale tomorrow starting at 3:30.
Please bring the kiddos a new and unwrapped toy!

As previously reported by Trending Politics, Lake has been making waves on the national stage with her unique, methodical dissection of the establishment media honed by her own years behind the mic.
Lake is tapping into a readily apparent reality that a vast majority of Americans, regardless of party affiliation, are feeling. According to CNN, 84% of the American people are “worried” about the national economy, an increase of 26% since August 2020. Additionally, a large plurality of 42% of those polled felt it is the most important issue.
CNN Poll: How worried are you about the state of the economy?
58% – Worried
41% – Not Worried

The same poll found that Biden’s approval rating on the economy has also reached a new low at 33%.
Lakes’ team arranged her toy drive at Handlebar J in Scottsdale, AZ and it appears to have been quite successful with several images of happy children appearing on her X feed. Her public relations team at Kari Lake War Room wrote, “Thank you to everyone who came out for @KariLake’s Christmas Toy Drive. We know Arizona is worth fighting for. And we love giving back to it. Merry Christmas!”

Colton Duncan with Lake’s team posted that the drive collected “HUNDREDS of toys for families in need.” He explained that Lake ” saw a few hours open in the schedule and asked the team to fill it with something meaningful to give back to the community. Duncan added, “There’s no one like @KariLake.”
