With less than four weeks to go until November 5, DailyMail.com has brought on board some high-profile additions to their team to navigate through one of the most chaotic periods in American political history.

Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, and the former president’s biographer, Michael Wolff, have joined as columnists for the upcoming US presidential election. Conway, also known for her role as Senior Counselor to President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2020, is a political consultant and pollster.

“This election is arguably one of the most consequential in our lifetimes and we’re laser-focused on reporting the stories only the Mail can deliver,” said Katie Davies, US Editor-in-Chief of DailyMail. “Kellyanne Conway and Michael Wolff have both dominated the national discourse, are fiercely opinionated, and will provide readers, regardless of political affiliation, with unrivaled and behind-the-scenes insights into the 2024 race.”

“I look forward to helping readers make sense of the polls, the political differences and policy implications in what continues to be a wild, unprecedented presidential cycle,'” Conway added. “Just as I do on Fox News and Fox Nation, my goal will be to push past the soundbites to provide a substantive look at the issues, ideas, individuals and images that readers crave. I can’t wait to be a part of the sharp, incisive conversation at DailyMail.com!”

WILDWOOD, NJ – JANUARY 28: U.S. President Donald J. Trump welcomes Kellyanne Conway during a campaign rally at Wildwood Convention Center on January 28, 2020 in Wildwood, New Jersey.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Conway attended Trinity College in Washington, D.C., where she earned a degree in political science. Conway began her career as a pollster in the 1990s, working with Republican candidates and eventually co-founding her own polling company, The Polling Company/WomanTrend. Her work primarily focused on understanding the attitudes and behaviors of female voters, which made her an influential figure in GOP circles.

Conway rose to national prominence during the 2016 U.S. presidential election when she joined Donald Trump’s campaign as a senior advisor. She later became the campaign manager, making history as the first woman to manage a winning presidential campaign. Following Trump’s victory, Conway served as Counselor to the President, a senior role in the Trump administration, where she was known for her strong defense of the president and frequent media appearances.

During her tenure, Conway became a polarizing figure. She remained in the role until August 2020, when she announced her resignation, citing the need to focus on her family. Despite stepping back from her official role, Conway remains an influential voice. Throughout her career, she has been lauded for her strategy and her handling of media and public perception, making her one of the most well-known and controversial figures in recent American politics.

Meanwhile, the DailyMail is one of the United Kingdom’s most widely read publications. Initially launched as a middle-market newspaper aimed at the working and middle classes, the site quickly gained a large readership due to its accessible language, focus on human interest stories, and shorter, more engaging articles compared to traditional newspapers. It has become especially popular in the U.S., where it covers Hollywood celebrities and American politics. The paper’s aggressive approach and focus on U.S. politics have made it a source for news and political commentary during the election cycle, including its investigative reporting on Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
