‘Lawyer Up’: Obama Hit With Major Warning After Bombshell Docs Expose ‘Russiagate’ Hoax

A flurry of social media posts by President Donald Trump on Sunday night included an ominous warning for his predecessor, just one of a handful of officials whom he accused of perpetuating the baseless “Russiagate” allegations dating back to his first campaign.

Trump, eager to turn the page on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, directed his ire at former President Barack Obama in a series of videos, illustrations, and artificial photos that portrayed him in handcuffs alongside other members of his administration. He warned Obama to “lawyer up” before his administration decides to pursue criminal charges.

Trump has repeatedly referred to the “Russia hoax” about the investigation into baseless connections between his campaign and Russian forces.

The meme video, made by a MAGA social media account, shows Obama in an orange jumpsuit with the caption “No one is above the law.”

Others targeted in the mugshot video include former FBI Director James Comey, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice, and former CIA Director John Brennan. Also mentioned in a Brady Bunch-style photo are Obama advisors Samantha Power, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, Ben Rhodes, and former CIA Director James Clapper.

“Intelligence was politicized at the highest levels under the direction of a sitting president to frame the incoming one,” the image darkly declares. “It was a soft coup.”

Last week, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard ordered the release of new materials suggesting a “cover-up” by members of the Obama administration who pursued the Russiagate investigation despite allegedly learning that Russian agents had no substantive plans to work with the Trump campaign.

The Trump advisor referred to the disclosure as a “treasonous conspiracy” at the highest level of the U.S. intelligence community.

Several recent social media posts by Gabbard include calls for Obama to be prosecuted over claims that Trump worked with Russian forces to win the 2016 election.

“It’s worse than even politicization of intelligence; it was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama’s and his team’s objective, which was undermining President Trump,” she said on Fox News Sunday.

U.S. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the Democrats’ top member on the Senate Intelligence Committee, fired back in a statement, “It is sadly not surprising that DNI Gabbard, who promised to depoliticize the intelligence community, is once again weaponizing her position to amplify the president’s election conspiracy theories.”

The Obama Foundation did not reply to a request for comment by the Daily Mail.

Trump’s rants also included an attack on Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who last week became the target of a federal investigation into allegations that he misrepresented his residency to obtain favorable federal mortgage loans over the past two decades.

“Adam Schiff is a thief! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else,” Trump lamented. “Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is in big trouble! He falsified Loan Documents.”

Another post included Trump’s demand that the Washington Commanders change their name back to the Redskins, citing statements by Native American groups supportive of a return to the NFL team’s original name.

“Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen,” Trump insisted. “Times are different now than they were three or four years ago.”
