BREAKING: Election Centers Were Sent Fentanyl-Laced Letters With Antifa Symbols
A full investigation is now underway in the states of Georgia and Washington after election offices on opposite sides of the country received letters containing lethal fentanyl emblazoned with Antifa imagery.
According to KOMO4 News, Washington officials said that election offices in four counties were evacuated Wednesday after a white powdery substance was identified in envelopes sent to facilities in Spokane, King, Pierce, and Skagit counties. Law enforcement reported that the substance field tested as fentanyl, although in at least one case it was discovered to be baking soda.
Across the country in Georgia, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told reporters that a letter mailed to Fulton County’s election office tested positive for the deadly drug.
“We became aware of the situation that there was actually still an envelope that was still in the mail that was traveling toward Fulton County,” Raffensperger told reporters according to KOMO.
Authorities noting this letter also originated in Washington indicated that officers are attempting to intercept the letter to prevent it getting into the hands of a person.
Elections officials at 159 county offices in Georgia were placed on alert with notices to handle incoming mail cautiously and Narcan was distributed to the offices for emergency use.
“We lost our son five and half years ago due to fentanyl overdose. We know how deadly this stuff is,” Raffensperge said.
West Coast editor for The Post Millennial shared images of the letters sent to Pierce County via X.
UPDATE: All other counties turned over their letters to the FBI/law enforcement. Waiting to hear back confirmation

One of the letters read in part:
“END ELECTIONS NOW
STOP GIVING POWER TO THE RIGHT THAT THEY DON’T HAVE
WE ARE IN CHARGE NOW AND THERE IS NO MORE NEED FOR THEM.
ALSO BE AWARE YOUR BALLOT DROPS ARE VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO NOXIOUS CHEMICALS LIKE AM/BL.. THEY ARE UNSAFE TO THE PUBLIC. JUST SAYING.”
Hoffman wrote in a thread, “Pierce County Elections confirmed that this is the letter it received yesterday that prompted the emergency response. It had a white powdery substance on it and the building was evacuated.

NEW: Why did Tacoma PD tell media outlets: “there was no candidate that was identified. There was no religious affiliated group identified. There was no political issue identified. It was just that vague statement.”
Tacoma Police spokesperson William Muse told KOMO, that the letter received by Pierce County said “something to the effect of stopping the election.”
He continued, “there was no candidate that was identified. There was no religious-affiliated group identified. There was no political issue identified. It was just that vague statement.”
The event was assessed by Washington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs to be “acts of terrorism to threaten our elections.”
A Department of Justice spokesman told KOMO that both the FBI and US Postal Inspection Service are now investigating the attack.
As previously reported by Trending Politics, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr announced the indictment of over 60 Antifa-affiliated activists under the RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) Act in early September as part of a crackdown on the organization in Dekalb County.
