Leftist Insurrection: Soros-Backed Mob Storms U.S. Senate Building
On Monday morning, over one hundred radical leftist pro-Palestinian insurrectionists illegally entered the atrium of the Hart Senate Capitol Office Building, disrupting the operations of the Senate offices there and defying multiple warnings from Capitol Police.
Documentarian Ford Fischer of News2Share recorded the unlawful breach of the Capitol Complex from moment to moment, capturing the arrest of several of the assailants. He observed that the intruders spilled symbolic red painted money all over the atrium, with one of them climbing the atrium’s Mountains and Clouds Sculpture to hoist the banner of the group reading “‘Aid’ to Israel = bombing Palestinians.”

According to The Washington Free Beacon, The U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) claimed credit for the illegal breach of the Senate Building. A post to X from the group read, “RIGHT NOW: 100+ protestors have TAKEN OVER the Senate atrium for Palestine, singing “Ceasefire Now” and “Stop Weapons Now.” MORE FUNDING to Israel = more bombs & weapons to kill Palestinians The people CHOOSE LIFE, NOT GENOCIDE!”
RedState reported that police had to physically carry off the intruders who refused to comply with lawful commands.

The Beacon reported that both the USCPR as well as Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow which breached the building in October have all been funded directly or indirectly by George Soros. Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow were directly funded to the tune of “hundreds of thousands of dollars from Soros’s philanthropy arm, the Open Society Foundations.” While USCPR’s parent organization ‘Education for Just Peace in the Middle East’ was funded with a grant of $700,000 from Soros’ non-profit according to grant disclosures.
Chaya Raichik’s Libs of TikTok posed notable questions in relation to the insurrection: “When will the @FBI track them down and raid them? I’m sure they will be receiving 17-22 year sentences. Why isn’t this insurrection front page news everywhere?!”

Troublingly the Beacon noted, “Education for Just Peace in the Middle East, has been accused of abusing its charity status to bankroll Hamas and other Palestinian groups.” According to Tablet, Education for Just Peace in the Middle East is also the fiscal sponsor of the Palestinian BDS National Committee, a group that counts five U.S. Designated Terrorist Organizations among its members including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
RedState reported that approximately 49 people were arrested and charged with violation of D.C. Code 22-1307. Fox5DC published a statement from Capitol Police,
“It is illegal to demonstrate inside the Congressional Buildings,” Capitol Police said. “More than 40 people were arrested for D.C. Code § 22–1307 — Crowding, Obstructing, or Incommoding. One person climbed a statue in the atrium. He was arrested separately for § 22–405.01 — Resisting Arrest.”
If convicted the intruders are looking at a possible fine and up to 90 days in prison, a far cry from the multi-decade sentences being handed down for January 6th protestors.
