Liberal Leader Humiliated By His Wife In Another Embarrassing Public Snub
Another humiliating family moment befell French President Emmanuel Macron while waiting on his wife to depart their jet this week.
Macron, who was already emasculated by his wife Brigitte earlier this year, watched helplessly as she ignored his outstretched hand when he offered her help stepping down the final stairs of the aircraft. Both had just landed in West London, where the Prince and Princess of Wales waited to greet them on the tarmac at RAF Northolt.
As the French president reached out to help his wife, Brigitte appeared to ignore him, walking straight past her husband, who awkwardly dropped his hand back down by his side.
Instead, he strode over to Kate Middleton, giving the princess an air kiss above the top of her hand.
Minutes later, paparazzi spotted the Macrons ignoring one another while idling in a car as they waited to leave the runway. Brigitte appeared busy with her phone after retrieving it from her bag.

The frosty encounter comes after the troubled married couple quibbled in public while disembarking from their royal jet during a visit to Vietnam.
A viral clip of Macron and his wife appeared to show her slapping the French president inside the plane. Seconds later, Macron turned toward the exit door with a sickly smile when he realized that reporters caught the slap on camera.
The moment caused a national controversy in France, with prominent outlet Le Parisien asking on its cover: “Slap or ‘squabble’?”
Prince William and Kate Middleton are joining the Macrons for a visit with King Charles and Queen Camilla later in the day, according to the Daily Mail.
Middleton is still recovering from her yearlong bout with cancer after doctors declared her in remission. Seeing her at West London’s airport was heartening to fans who feared for her health when she missed a Royal Family outing at a highly anticipated horse race last month.
In addition to the prince and princess, the Macrons are scheduled to meet with other British dignitaries, including Sir Kenneth Olisa, the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London, and Hélène Duchêne, the King’s Ambassador to France.
Others included Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley and Northolt station commander Captain Jonathan Hough along with Kathryn Colvin, Special Representative of the Foreign Secretary.
Members of the British Suite, such as Viscount Brookeborough, Lord-in-Waiting, and Dame Menna Rawlings, Ambassador to Paris, joined the entourage as well.
King Charles was seen with a small blood vessel in his right eye, which gave it a red hue. Insiders close to the palace say Charles’s health has waned since he took the throne, and he is preparing for the very real possibility that a transfer of power to Prince William will occur in the near future.
Should that take place, Kate Middleton — once a commoner who married into the family — would ascend to the queenship, a royal rarity in British lore.
