Liberal Outlet Hired Witches To ‘Curse’ Charlie Kirk Two Days Before Shooting
The feminist website Jezebel has issued a statement for paying witches to place a curse on prominent conservative activist Charlie Kirk just two days before he was assassinated while speaking to students at Utah Valley University.
The statement was issued in response to a September 8 article titled, “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk.” In the article, the author bragged that she was able to purchase a “curse as easily as I can buy a phone charger.”
She went on to describe the services provided by the website Etsy in terms of witchcraft. “You can find a spell for just about anything,’ The author wrote. ‘Don’t want it to rain on your wedding day? There’s a spell for that,” the author wrote.
“Want the man who cheated on you to develop an incurable rash? Or premature balding? The Etsy coven has you covered.”
The author went on to label Kirk — the leader of the most robust youth conservative organization in the country — as one of the “downsides” of the internet due to his staunch support for President Donald Trump. “Maybe it’s his obsession with telling women what to do or his aggressively large head, but the far-right podcaster’s presence is more irritating than most,” the piece continued.
It went on to note that witches routinely place curses on Republican politicians and pundits, noting that there is a subreddit devoted to putting hexes on President Donald Trump on a nightly basis.
The author posed a question, “Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric he’s shouted at America’s youth and anyone within earshot? Here at Jezebel, we’re about to find out if there’s a spell for that.”
As news of Kirk’s assassination went viral across the world, the article generated significant attention and prompted a response from the outlet.
“This story was published on September 8,” the website said in a statement shortly after Kirk was pronounced dead. “Jezebel condemned the shooting of Charlie Kirk in the strongest possible terms,” the outlet continued. “We do not endorse, encourage, or excuse political violence of any kind.”

Person of interest in the murder of Charlie Kirk
On Thursday morning, the FBI released its first photos of a person of interest in the Kirk murder just after the manhunt pushed past the 24-hour mark. A suspect is not in custody as of this report, though investigators were able to track the gunman’s movements after he exited the rooftop from which he fired the shot that killed Kirk.
They were also able to obtain shoe prints, a palm print, and forearm impressions from the rooftop. The gunman’s weapon — a bolt-action, high-powered rifle — was also recovered from a wooded area not far from the Utah Valley campus.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, messages written on shell casings recovered from the scene expressed support for transgender ideology and “anti-fascist” (Antifa) causes.
From where the gunman was positioned, investigators believe he may have been able to travel several miles away from the venue in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. Images released by the bureau indicate that the gunman was dressed to blend in with the crowd, as evidenced by his American flag t-shirt.
The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for any information that leads to the suspect’s capture.
