‘Mad Men’ Star Elisabeth Moss’ Family Shares Sad News
The family of ‘Mad Men’ star Elisabeth Moss is grieving the loss of her father, Ron Moss, who passed away at the age of 79. Ron, a notable figure in his own right, succumbed to an infection after a brief battle, leaving behind a legacy as a professional musician and a manager for renowned artists.
TMZ reported that Max, the grandson of Ron, informed the media outlet of his grandfather’s passing. He stated that Ron died peacefully with his family around him in Clearwater, Florida.
“Ron made so many friends throughout his rich life and we want everyone to know that you all meant so much to him. Thank you for everything that any of you did for him throughout his life.”
His daughter, Elisabeth Moss, gained widespread acclaim for her roles in TV series such as “The West Wing,” where she played Zoey Bartlet, and “Mad Men,” where she portrayed Peggy Olson.
Moss is also renowned for her leading role as June Osborne in the dystopian drama series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which has received critical acclaim and several awards.
Her performances have been recognized with numerous awards, including Primetime Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards. Moss has also appeared in various films, contributing to her reputation as a versatile and talented actress.
Her father Ron was a talented trombone player who graced jazz bands with his music. His musical journey included collaborations with significant figures, such as the father of Scientology leader David Miscavige. Born and raised in the UK, he later moved to the United States, where he and his ex-wife Linda raised Elisabeth and her brother Derek in Los Angeles.
While there have been public appearances of Elisabeth with her father, the nature of their recent relationship remains private.
