Major Metropolis to Start Packing Migrants into “Tent Towns”

New York City is now building expensive tent towns that will house thousands of the impoverished migrants being shuffled around by President Joe Biden’s pro-migration administration.

@NYCMayor has a huge space remodeled with Federal Dollars they could house illegals. It’s called the Javits Convention Center. Or, put tents in Central Park.

If small border towns have to deal with 1000’s of illegals invading almost daily, surly sanctuary NYC should too. pic.twitter.com/bjevSKuL0T

“While other leaders have abdicated their moral duty to support arriving asylum seekers, New York City refuses to do so,” Mayor Eric Adams said Thursday. Again, the “leaders” he aims at never proclaimed their cities — or their state — to be sanctuary grounds for wayward migrants. It simply isn’t our duty to take them in. Meanwhile, the needs of Americans are ignored and brushed off by elitists so that they can rush to import more migrants, which they hope will equal more democrat votes in November.

“We’re laser-focused on supporting the parents, children, and individuals who deserve compassion and support, and these centers are one piece of our work to do just that,” said Phillip Banks, the deputy mayor for public safety.

But what about the public safety of New Yorkers whose quality of life has already hit an all-time low due to the surge in violent crimes and the rise in homelessness across the city?

A week ago, Mayor Eric Adams ordered all city agencies to cut their expenses by 3% this year. The average cost to house someone in a shelter is around $135 and $190 a day. The bill could total upwards of hundreds of millions of dollars. The city is still recovering from extended lockdowns, and because so many people lost their jobs, they are relying on the city for assistance. Shouldn’t the need of taxpaying New Yorkers come first? The city is not asking the state and federal government to step in and help because they are in over their heads.

Adams does not oppose the influx of poor foreigners into his stressed city. He justifies the cost of housing these migrants as part of the 1950s “Nation of Immigrants” narrative about open borders, which isn’t relevant today. Not even close. His speech about them “coming here to make a better life” is pure hyperbole that doesn’t pertain to the 21st century. Our laws have changed, as have our political ideals, and quite honestly, we are on the verge of an economic collapse on a global scale. Thanks to progressive politicians like Eric Adams, we are on the verge of becoming a nation much like the one many of these migrants are fleeing from.

Trump: “We are becoming a large-scale version of Venezuela, which 20 years ago was a very successful country and now they don’t have food, they don’t have water, everyone dies, it is managed by a horrible group of murderers,” he stressed. https://t.co/I9cKyjDsLE

A French artist originally built the State of Liberty to display the U.S. Constitution’s success in the 1880s. Through the years, pro-migration advocates’ very aggressive PR campaign started to build a narrative around “Miss Liberty” as a beacon of hope to foreign migrants. And the words inscribed on the tablet held by the Statue of Liberty were found in a collection of poems written in 1883 by Emma Lazarus, a wealthy member of New York’s high society. Georgina Schuyler, a New York art patron, liked the poem so much that she arranged to have five lines from it engraved. Those five lines would literally change the meaning of the statue for years to come. And now, the mayor of New York City is on a revival campaign for the “homeless, tempest-tossed” to find refuge and a “lamp beside the golden door” to tent town in his crumbling city, where he can’t even keep his own people safe.

Since May 2022, the number of homeless people in New York City has risen by 25% to an all-time high of 58,000.
