Matt Gaetz Drops the Gauntlet on Kevin McCarthy Over House Speaker

Kevin McCarthy is being put through the ringer for his attempt to reclaim the position of Speaker of the House after the Republicans took the House of Representatives in November and some people aren’t holding back…

Most notably, Florida Congressmen Matt Gaetz spoke out about Kevin McCarthy’s bid for Speaker of the House and revealed corruption within his practices and attempts to get back in the Speaker’s chair.

Gaetz has been a long time critic of Kevin McCarthy who he has called a RINO on multiple occasions despite former President Donald Trump backing McCarthy’s bid for Speaker of the House.

“I’m not here to participate in some puppet show.. I don’t want to relive the Benghazi experience where it’s just theatre pretending to be oversight” Gaetz said in a furious rant to plethora of reporters. Check out that video below:

Gaetz even went as far to mention some of the words that the former President has coined when talking about Washington D.C. elites. The Florida Congressmen attacked McCarthy who is also a member of the GOP calling him the “biggest alligator” in the so-called ‘swamp’ of Washington D.C.

“If you want to drain the swamp, you cannot put the biggest alligator in charge of the exercise,” Gaetz said in another rant which you can view below:

Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado joined Gaetz in the same rhetoric critiquing McCarthy for his way of governing and saying that she would not vote for him as Speaker of the House check it out in the video below:

Fox News is even reporting that Representative Boebert muttered under her breath “this is bullsh*t” during the meeting over McCarthy’s run for the Speaker of the House.
