Melania Trump’s New Memoir Climbs To #1 On New York Times Bestseller List
Former First Lady Melania Trump’s long-awaited memoir has made its way to the top of the New York Times’ bestseller list after hitting retail shelves earlier this week.
Political consultant and strategist David Urban broke the news in an X post on Thursday afternoon.”Congratulations @MelaniaTrump, whose new book is quietly #1 on the @nytimes best sellers list 20 days prior to the 2024 Election,” he wrote. The former First Lady soon confirmed the news in an X post of her own.

Former First Lady Melania Trump’s memoir, “Melania,” which has billed as a “powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence,” was released earlier this week. While the former First Lady has largely stayed out of the public spotlight since leaving the White House in 2021, she has given several rare interviews in recent weeks ahead of the book’s release.
“Melania” was be released by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published works from other notable Trump allies such as Rudy Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz. Skyhorse has also worked with independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has written forewords for a number of their productions.
The former first lady “invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life,” her office announced in a press release upon the book’s announcement this past summer. “‘Melania’ includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public.”
While the memoir was a first for Melania Trump, the former president has released two books since leaving the White House in 2021. One was a picture book commemorating his time in the White House, while another contained a collection of letters from world leaders and celebrities.
According to a report from Fox News, Melania also plans to release a special edition memoir that will feature photographs that she herself captured while serving as First Lady, as well as never-before-seen insights into her life before politics.
“The collector’s edition of the former first lady’s first-ever memoir, ‘Melania,’ features 256 pages in full color, with each copy signed by Trump,” the outlet reported.
“Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows,” Melania said. “Each story shaped me into who I am today.”
