Mehdi Hasan of MSNBC got absolutely shredded like fine cheddar cheese on Thursday after he made the utterly ridiculous claim that House Democrats never investigated the Trump family when they had majority control of the chamber, despite the many, many investigations into the former president. Has this guy been a sleep for the last six or seven years? Where in the world is he getting his information? Perhaps a fact-checker ought to slap this guy with one of those fancy stickers on social media?
“After Republicans secured a majority in the House, Reps. James Comer, R.-Ky., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio., announced in a press conference Thursday that they would be further investigating the extent of President Biden’s involvement with his son Hunter’s business dealings,” Fox News reported. “‘The Mehdi Hasan Show’ host attacked the investigation into the Biden family because, he claimed, House Democrats ‘didn’t do this for the Trump family,’ while also appearing to take a swipe at outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
It seems that one of the requirements for working at propaganda makers like MSNBC is to have an IQ smaller than a toddler’s shoe size.

A plethora of Twitter users came out and responded that former President Donald Trump and his family had indeed been investigated by House Democrats, along with several other government agencies. I mean, this stuff has been covered non-stop ever since Trump announced he was running for president back in 2015. It’s not like there wasn’t news coverage of these investigations. How did this guy miss all of that?

Substack writer Jim Treacher showed zero mercy when he responded to Hasan by tweeting, “They did, stupid.” Short, not-so-sweet, and straight to the point.
“Democrats elected an AG in NY on investigating Trump. They investigate[ed] Trump non-stop on Congress as well,” YouTube personality Sean Fitzgerald replied.
Strategist Yossi Gestetner said, “Clown Alert,” along with posting a screencap of an ABC News article about how House Democrats had subpoenaed Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

“Because it’s very stupid and Pelosi has way better political instincts than that?” The Intelligencer writer Benjamin Hart stated in his response.
“Not unfair to ask. Especially since the trump family put their offspring in political positions and they had a lot of influence on things they shouldn’t have,” New York State Assemblyman Yuh-Line Niou posted in a tweet.
And unlike any of the situations that the left were investigating the Trump family for, we have actual, legitimate evidence that President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been up to shady business. There are tons of emails, phone messages, texts, and all sorts of things on the laptop that has been proven to be authentic. We know for a fact he was selling access to his then-vice president dad and that the evidence points to Biden being involved in the whole thing, taking a cut to make himself wealthy.

The investigation into Hunter Biden is not about revenge. It’s about fixing the justice system so it is no longer two-tiered. Everyone, no matter their station in life, should be equal under the law. That starts by holding those at the top accountable for their actions.
