MUST-SEE: Eric Swalwell Comes At Greg Gutfeld, Immediately Regrets It
Less than a week after Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) swung at Greg Gutfeld for mocking his weightlifting video, the Fox News host put him on the mat with a merciless skewering of Swalwell’s offer to face off in a benchpress competition.
“Here’s the deal for [Greg Gutfeld]. (Never heard of him til he spent 8 minutes criticizing what I bench press),” Swalwell wrote on X after Gutfeld laughed at the Democrat’s relatively light day at the gym. Swalwell had released the video to criticize U.S. House Republicans for adjourning without taking a vote on releasing the government’s Epstein files.
“The deal: if tough guy benches more than me for 10 reps I’ll leave Congress. If not, he leaves Fox News,” challenged Swalwell.
While enticing, Gutfeld instead devoted another segment of his show to doubling down on the roast of his social media rival.
“Yes, Swalwell, the only man to ever be out-lifted in the Capitol gym by the groundhog on Maxine Water’s (D-CA) head,” he joked next to an unflattering image of the congresswoman.
“Perhaps it’s all a plan to get me in the gym sauna by himself… So Eric, if you ever want anyone to take you seriously you might try truth instead of being so damn thirsty,” Gutfeld continued.
“It’s why you got honeypotted by a Chinese spy. She looked at you and thought, ‘Hm, a socially inept dork who hasn’t got his weenie wet since a field trip to the waterslide in seventh grade. I got this one.’ I mean what else could she see in a guy who looks like he buys boner pills from the New Zealand dark web?”
The show cut to an image of a shirtless Swalwell riding a camel. “I wonder which beat retains more water?” he mused to laughter and applause from his studio audience.
“And who can forget when he ran for president? And electrified an audience of none,” the Fox host observed, concluding the congressman’s short-lived White House bid went about as well “as a kissing booth at a funeral.”
Nor were Swalwell’s interview skills safe from mockery as Gutfeld resurfaced his “fart heart ’round the world” where Swalwell broke wind while defending the first impeachment of President Donald Trump.
“Which gets me back to this weightlifting challenge. I’m just not willing to share a gym with a guy who has uncontrollable flatulence,” he joked.

Swalwell’s swings and misses are adding up after his erstwhile relationship with a Chinese spy. After he took aim at U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the Signalchat leak, social media users rose to Hegseth’s defense and ratio’d Swalwell’s social media account, filling his alerts with humorous reminders about his toxic tryst.
