Naked Passenger Detained After Causing Chaos On Florida-Bound Flight

An American Airlines flight bound for Miami descended into chaos after a female passenger allegedly stripped naked and engaged in lewd behavior in full view of other travelers, according to reports.

The bizarre incident unfolded late Friday night on a flight from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to Miami International Airport.

According to Fox News, the woman began removing her clothes midflight before allegedly performing indecent acts in front of fellow passengers.

Crew members quickly alerted the captain and identified the woman as a “passenger in row 9.”

One flight attendant also used the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, known as ACARS, to report the disturbance and request that American Airlines and law enforcement be notified.

The flight continued to Miami and landed at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.

Law enforcement officers were waiting when the aircraft arrived and took the woman into custody shortly after landing.

It was not immediately clear whether she was formally charged.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that its preliminary investigation determined the disturbance occurred while the aircraft was in flight.

Because the alleged conduct happened in the air, local authorities contacted the FBI, which has since taken over the investigation.

The incident adds to a string of high-profile disturbances aboard commercial flights in recent years, where unruly behavior has forced crews and law enforcement to intervene.

American Airlines did not immediately disclose whether the passenger would face additional penalties from the carrier.

Authorities have also not publicly identified the woman.

For passengers on board, what should have been a routine trip to South Florida instead turned into an airborne spectacle that ended with federal investigators getting involved.
