NEW: Alleged Minnesota Shooter’s Manifesto Surfaces
A distrusting manifesto reportedly belonging to the alleged shooter who killed two children and wounded several others at a Minneapolis Catholic School has been identified by law enforcement.
The gunman — identified by police as 23-year-old Robin Westman, a self-described transgender individual — opened fire during a school-wide mass at the Annunciation Catholic School. Two children under the age of 10 were killed as they sat in pews, while several others have been hospitalized, some with life-threatening injuries.
Westman then took his own life behind the building after indiscriminately firing through the church’s windows.
Police are investigating a series of disturbing videos uploaded by Westman just before the attack, two law enforcement sources told the New York Post. In one video, a hand slowly turns pages on a red notebook, which is laid out on top of what appears to be schematic gun diagrams.
“Each page is filled with inscrutable handwritten scrawl, an occasional plume of smoke is seen from the bottom of the screen as the person turning the pages coughs and occasionally maniacally giggles,” The Post reported. Other videos paid homage to other mass shooters, such as Sandy Hook killer Adam Lanza.
Another had an image of a gun range target topped with a picture of Jesus Christ.

Additional videos show an arsenal of weapons, including a semiautomatic rifle, a shotgun and multiple handguns. Messages and symbols were scribbled in white font all over the weapons, an apparent nod to the Christchurch mosque mass shooter.
A number of the messages indicated support for left-wing extremism and anti-Christian causes. “Where is your god?” reads one message, which was scribbled on a magazine. Other messages on magazines included “F**k everything you stand for,” “I’m the woker baby, why so queerious?” and “Killer Sadist.”
Another message scribbled atop the semiautomatic rifle read “Kill Donald Trump.”

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told reporters that Westman was not previously known to law enforcement and had no criminal record. He was armed with a shotgun, semiautomatic rifle and at least one of the handguns.
According to court records, Westman, a biological male, began identifying as a “transgender” female when he was 17-years-old. His birth name is Robert, which was changed to Robin after his “transition.”
